Easy for someone who isn't handy!
I've always wanted a cable railing staircase so I was super excited to receive this kit for our diy project. This arrived in a small box so beware, there are no cables that come with the kit. This kit just contains the "connectors" for the cable to the staircase. This kit made a job that seemed very complicated and work intensive easy peasy for a couple that is not particularly handy and I love the modem look!

SOooooo then i compared turnbuckle quality and that was definitely better in the kit
At first I was not sure about what I had received. But with a little research I quickly realized the value of the turnbuckles alone was greater than what I would have paid at the major home improvement stores. SOooooo then i compared turnbuckle quality and that was definitely better in the kit. SO ultimately you could by lower quality turnbuckles for MORE at the major store of your choice, and then buy the rest of the stuff for even more $$ or get this kit and be happy. My one and only complaint, the cutter was excellent as a cutter, but i could not use it as a crimper as the jaw did not open wide enough, I ended up using a vice grips to do the crimping which worked.

Kit contains everything you need!
The quality in this railing kit is superior to anything I have previously bought. You can feel the quality of the pieces just by holding them in your hand. They are nice and heavy. Also, the installation guide makes it easy for DIY project and the package contains everything you need. My wife is so pleased of the result that she recommended this kit to her friends.

I liked it
This kit had everything that I needed to install a cable railing staircase. It is easy to install, but it was nice to have the Installation guide to walk me through the process. This looked great and feels like our deck is bigger, instead of being closed in with the wood railings.

Quality Product - Will Purchase Again
Great product. Other cable railing products here cost two and three times what this one does. PLUS, it is the only one on amazon that is made from stainless steel 316 versus 304 - better strength and corrosion resistance. Will use them again for our regular customer requests in the shop.

Undersized cutter and cleats.
The cable cutter is undersized for its intended use, and the cleats provided would never do the job: they are much to small with screws that would pull out with very little effort.
