The Paws Colour Fusion Leather Collar, S, 40 cm, Pink

My viszla lab, who's 30 kg, seems to be in-between sizes in this collar: the medium is slightly small (though wearable), whereas the L is way too big in both length and width (she looks really uncomfortable in it). My dog had worn this collar in lime (medium size) for years and the collar is still pretty much as new; it's only the loop that's worn away a bit, so I thought I'd get my dog a new one. The L is listed as the right size for her breed but it's just not right. I hoped to exchange it for the medium again but apparently it's minimum £3.99 to return the first purchase, so my refund would have been a whopping £0.18. Free returns or exchanges should be the standard by now--I am extremely disappointed with the service. So unless you know exactly what size your dog needs, consider shopping elsewhere.That said, I haven't had a bad experience with the quality of collar so far like some other reviewers seem to have done. It looks stylish and it has lasted my pooch years.

The leather around the D ring is not strong enough and the build quality isn't consistent between all colours of this collar - I have bought a number of these collars for my dogs in different colours (one pink, two red, and two brown) . The pink and black are ok but are showing signs that they could break where the D ring is. The brown collars wear much quicker than the other colours, within days of having this collar the inside colour rubbed off - you may say this is due to my dog - however I have bought two of these collars for two very different dogs and both collars have worn out quickly - the only way to be sure my dog was safe in this collar was to wind insulation around the part where the D ring attaches. Don't buy this collar if your dog pulls and even if you have a quiet dog regularly check the collar for signs of wear especially around the D ring.

I haven't had this very long I was walking my dog today and it started to tear around the hoop part I am very lucky that my friend lived near by and had a spare collar to borrow for the. Walk home or my dog wouldn't have had collar left to attach the lead to I'm very disappointed in this product and frustrated as I am unable to find a way to contact the seller Amazon regarding this matter. In fact I'm very angry as this could have put my dog in danger

Quality and colour are excellent. My dog is a 34cm neck and so the "small" was just a bit too small to fit in the last hole and then go barely go through the tab. The "medium" was just a bit too big, fitting in the second hole but with a large length sticking out beyond the tab. It was good enough to do the job but not perfect. Pity as the quality and colour really are good. The tab seems a bit thin and soft and I wonder how long it will last (so different from the quality of the main collar leather).

Dear Manager of The Paws, I would very much appreciate a refund! I bought this collar just before we went on holiday a month ago. Almost immediately it started to wear at the D-ring (as other buyers are saying) but by the end of three weeks the majority of the 'leather' had totally degraded and is peeling off. The return window closed yesterday (we only got back from hols today) and there is no way through Amazon to contact you (the seller).

I bought this for a friend of mine who has recently been registered blind. She has minimal sight and was going to have to rehome her lovely dog as she couldn't see her ( her dog is black) and was fearful of tripping over her, which she very nearly did a few times. This lovely collar now enables my friend to see when her dog moves around as she can make out the white. It is a substantial collar, wide and strong. Just right for her Staffie. The collar has been worn for a few weeks now and there have been no accidents. Everyone's happy and she can keep her dog without worry. A really good buy.

this fits my 2 year old doberman very well it has a fantastic colour combination and feel to it. i think they are great. i also purchased one for my scottish deerhound in green who is 3 years of age and he finds and seems to be comfortable in it. HOW LONG IT WILL LAST I WILL SEE but so far so good the collars are that good i might get them another colour each next week just as a spare or for special occasions. thanks amazon

This is a very good collar, made from leather, however, it is soft and bendy and will mould to my dogs neck the more he wears it. Many collars have hard edges and look uncomfortable, whereas this is the reverse. I would recommend this collar and the supplier.On my review of the seller I incorrectly stated that the collar had not arrived, unfortunately, I was also waiting for another collar from a different seller which had not arrived and had got the two mixed up. Paws Pet supples are extremely professional.
