Wave does NOT make sweetened sodas like Fanta, Coca-Cola, Orange Crush, Jarritos, etc. What they make is like a more substantially fruit-flavored version of La Croix. It's not sugar free, it has fruit in it not just essence, but it's also not highly sweetened like most of the stuff you would get out of a soda fountain.I wasn't expecting to like the cucumber variety (I'm just into trying odd flavors) but I was very pleasantly surprised and it's now my favorite beverage. If you've ever had water from a pitcher where it was soaking with cucumber slices, this soda is a slightly amplified version of that with a carbonation and a stronger cucumber flavor.You should also be aware, Wave seems to be having distribution issues. Expect a few cans to have been damaged, and factor that into the price. I ordered two 12-packs and had one can that had leaked. I suspect that one froze and burst. I expect better but in the end it's just one can out of 24. It means the rest were 5% more expensive. My girlfriend had the same experience with her order, but it was one can in 48. I'm just happy I can get interesting sodas delivered to my door so I don't have to mingle during a pandemic.

I love cucumbers especially drinks made with fresh cucumber juice. Mr. Q Cumber is my all time favorite but it's hard to get and on Amazon the rate is RIDICULOUS!! I saw this and soooo wanted to love it but sadly I don't. Some may find it crisp and refreshing..not very sweet but I'm afraid I DID NOT like the flavor at all and even worse there's not even the slightest hint of cucumbers. Since I can't return it I think I'll get some flavored syrup to add to it!!

I have been trying to get my husband to quit drinking Coke for forever! I had tried buying him some sparkling water in the past but he can’t stand the taste of it. A friend of mine tried Wave at an event and told me to buy some for my husband. I finally caved and ordered some and HE LOVES IT!!! He likes that there is a stronger flavor than all the other sparkling waters he has tried. Plus, he likes that there is caffeine in it!I don’t even drink soda and I love it too! It’s very light and refreshing! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

You guys are on to something. I can’t stand regular sodas. It grosses me out. I only drink lightly flavored drinks with no sugar. I can’t believe you have cucumber. Can’t wait to try other Flavors. I also hate coffee and need a kick. This helps me and doesn’t effect my sleep. Lightly caffeinated.

I love the flavor of cucumber in drinks and have tried a cucumber soda and a cucumber energy drink and loved both. I did not love this and did not taste cucumber.To me, this tastes like a very dilute fruit of some sort that I can't quite place. I see that it's got pear, lemon and cucumber in it so I'm guessing the addition of the pear and lemon is why it doesn't taste like cucumber.Even if this was billed as "fruit" flavored rather than "cucumber," I still wouldn't like it tastes watered down and dilute to me. There's just not enough flavor in it for me.I noticed (now) that in one spot it's billed as sparkling water, while in another it's sparkling juice. It is more of a water with a slight flavor. Not juice like in consistency or flavor imho.

Cucumber is gross, honestly. There’s another flavor hiding in there like maybe the pear juice, that just gives it a strange taste. I have had mango and tangerine and those flavors were much better and I’d give those ones five stars, but not the cucumber.

First tried Wave Soda at Ralphs with a coworker and had to get some immediately. After seeing online they have cucumber also, I knew I had to have it for the office. It's so refreshing and I even have it instead of coffee sometimes. It's the perfect afternoon pick me up. There are so many flavors we are going to order a different one every week to try them all. Also, I love the logo with the VW van it's so fun!

The cucumber was the worst tasting soda I've had in a long time. Won't be able to finish the 12 pack. I've tried adding lime, mixing it with other sodas and nothing helps the taste. I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Was so hoping to find something light and refreshing for the summer but this is awful.
