Bought from Hafzar and I have to say that the foam was clean, didn't have a strong chemical smell and was received in good condition via Hermes just 2 days after placing order.I haven't tried memory foam before so I can only say that it does feel different to the upholstery seating foam I bought a few years ago. Doesn't indent and hold shape as much as pictures would suggest but is soft and comfortable to sit or lie on. I tried cutting 40cm off and putting in a pillow case protector then a standard pillow case after having read mixed reviews for memory foam pillows. The square cut edge was too hard on my neck and shoulder and the overall effect was uncomfortable and too hard for someone who prefers soft to medium pillows. 7.5cm is quite thick to cut with a Stanley knife so from my experience I would suggest large scissors for cutting down, unless you have a large very sharp knife.Now used to make a comfortable back cushion on living room chair. Would be perfect for making a dog bed.

I have left reviewing this for a while, as I wanted to see how affective it was before reviewing it. After searching for a orthopaedic dog bed, and absolutely mortified at how much people were charging, this came up in the search, so I decided to give it a try, as my poor boy has arthritis & has a pronounce Limp when he gets up off his bed. I ordered this, found it would actually fit in the dog bed cover we had. Since we have been using this, you see a massive difference when my dog gets up & he is so much better with his movements when he gets up after lying on for long period of times, would recommend this instead of paying a fortune a Dog Bed

If I could give 10 stars I would. I ordered four pieces of this foam to make two dog beds. I put one on top of the other & just duck taped both ends to keep it together. Then I brought water proof mattress protectors that fit a cot, then cot sheets. My two dogs have never been happier. I looked at memory foam dog beds & although they are nice they are the best part of £100. I have two dogs so £200 for dog beds is definitely out of my price range. I would definitely buy this again when needed. It came quickly & very well packaged. There was NO SMELL at all to it which I was worried about. I opened it & left it to take shape for around 30 minutes, then covered them with the sheets. Not even lying, it wasn’t long before both dogs were snoring. Very happy. You won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous dog beds. I purchased 2 for my Alaskan Malamutes, one of which has an arthritic problem. They initially viewed the new beds with suspicion but after a few minutes they lay on them and now they love them. I covered them with a dog bed cover and a fluffy throw. I even lay on one for myself to see how comfy they were. The dogs now have a comfier bed than me! The beds are genuine memory foam and in comparison to other similar beds, they are an absolute bargain. They arrived very quickly and communication regarding delivery was very good. I am very happy, my dogs are very happy and I would recommend these beds. It may be pure coincidence but my dog with the arthritic problem has struggled far less since he had his new bed.

I did not get this for a dog bed but for my recliner chair. I need a cushion at my back but it kept falling down the gap. So this much longer piece of foam makes for a comfy seat and a lumbar cushion which will not slip down the gap. It is slightly lighter weight than I was expecting but is very comfy so far. It is the exact right width for my recliner and just covered with a fleecy blanket it is the dog’s wotsits, if not his bed.Update after 9 months use - still fantastic. Best tenner I ever spent. This is my every day chair and it is so comfy with this foam on.

I used this as bedding for my dog. As it has a chemical smell, I covered it in bicarbonate of soda (then shook it off - do this outdoors), which eliminates the smell. I used old dog bed covers / duvet covers / throws to cover it. It REALLY really helped my elderly dog settle and sleep into comfy positions. He loved them (I bought three in the end). Far, far cheaper than the beds sold in pet shops and even on amazon.... just get this and then cover it which the cover of your choice. Can't really clean the foam, or I couldn't, but as I had covers over it, it didn't really get dirty, though it did get dog hairs in it. I'd still buy more if I needed them.

Easy to cut, excellent value for money, definitely ordering more for my little dogs. So far have used as inserts in 2 small breed dog beds. A dog pushchair and my sons dog has a bad leg. He is quite large and used rest of foam to put in his giant dog bed so he can rest his leg comfortably. But ordering more as one of my small dogs liked sprawling out on a large piece on the floor with a fluffy blanket on top. This is absolutely excellent quality. Super happy with it and highly recommend. Absolutely brilliant price and you get a lot for your money. Frankly much much better than had hoped for with regards to the quality of the foam.

I'm giving this 4 stars because its not as soft as the photo would suggest. It arrived within 2 days which is brilliant, however I dont think 6 emails and 2 texts were necessary to tell me it's whereabouts...It wasnt dirty and didnt have any horrible smell to it when i unpacked it, and it expanded to its full potential within minutes. I trimmed about 5 inches off using a big kitchen knife and covered it with a blanket until i can get a cover. My 10 year old doggo seems to like it :)
