Mason Pearson Bristle and Nylon Junior Medium Size Brush BN2

I've used this small brush for over 49 years and they are a must for me. Really easy and comfortable to use and I find them perfect for my finer hair. This is a good quality item and has a lovely feel to it when using, never pulls or catches the hair and are easy to clean. Sounds a strange thing to say about a hairbrush, but I really just always have to have my Mason Pearson brush. They are worth the extra money.

The women in my family have been using these brushes for at least 50 years. Every one of them remains serviceable, can be cleaned easily and has paid for itself a hundred times over. I recently bought one for my wife and she loves it. Be aware that the nylon/natural bristle combination brush is better for fine hair. I went to the manufacturer's website to find out which brush is suited to what type of hair. This is a little more complex than you might imagine. If you buy the wrong type for your hair it will limit your appreciation for the brand and many sellers don't explain this clearly. The small size with a handle is very useful, being small enough for a handbag yet large enough for everyday use at home. Overall the quality is exceptional and remains as good as when I remember them in my grandmother's hand 50 years ago. These are the best and although quite expensive to buy, they last for so long that the cost becomes very reasonable. Recommended. I hope this has been helpful.

I brought this item, because the breeder of my dog recommenced it to me, and she is very experienced. My dog's coat never looks as long and flowing as her dog's do. I looked on the website she told me about, but first I thought I would check on here, with having an account. I was very surprised to find no reviews by dog owners, so here's the first.It looked like an ordinary brush to me when it arrived, in fact for the price I was tempted to keep it for myself. I decided to try it on my dog, and she loves it. For over two years now I have been trying to find the perfect brush; she is a rough collie. I am only just getting her used to being brushed. Today when the Mason Pearson brush arrived she loved it. She even let me brush her in areas I usually have to fight with to get to. Her coat has never looked long and flowing like a show dog's, which is what she was originally bred for, and I was disappointed after seeing what her relatives look like. I happened to say something to her breeder and she told me to try this. My dog is starting to get her winter coat back, so it is going to be a lot thicker, and needs a good brush. This is my second rough collie so I am experienced and knew what I was in for with the grooming, but this one has taken a long time to get used to it. Well, even after the first brush I can see results, so I am hoping when she starts moulting next year for her summer coat, that it will be in better condition.If you are wondering about the seller of this item, I 100% recommend. I ordered it Thursday night, and it was not expected until next Thursday. Today (Saturday) it arrived. I was very surprised and happy.

I bought one exactly the same 35 years ago and it has only lost a few bristles.I have never been without it.Treating myself to a new one,it will probably last longer than myself.A treasure I have never been without,and great with all different lengths of hair.

Previously owned a mason brush. Excellent brush but after over 30 years of use was beginning to show signs of wear so decided to treat myself to another one. Delighted with the new one as much as my original. Excellent product.

Mason Pearson Pocket Size Bristle and Nylon BrushI was given this brush about 15 years ago as a present from my boyfriend. At the time i thought it a strange gift, but it has been the best brush i have ever used and if i misplace it i get grumpy as no other brush will do for me.I decided to buy another brush so that my five year old daughter could have the same brush as me. We had been sharing previously as she too loves this brush. It is gentle and doesn't pull her fine hair but gets rid of all the knots. Her hair gets very tangled as she is a wriggler in bed!I have tried other brushes on us both but no other brush compares - Even as a single mum on a tight budget i believe this brush is worth every penny!

Nice size for handbags. As effective a brush as the larger model.

It costs quite a lot but it's worth its price! It gives a gentle massage to the scalp and makes my hair shine very nicely. I've never had such a good hairbrush before and I am sure that it will last for years. I have thick hair so with other brushes I always had the problem that, although they brushed my hair, didn't massage my scalp because the bristles didn't go trough my hair, they didn't reach my scalp. The nylon stiffs of the Mason Pearson brush gave a fantastic massage to my scalp. I love it!
