Digital and Mini USB Rechargable Luggage Scale with Backlight Display in PURPLE …

This thing is fantastic. Very accurate weight readings, easy to use, lightweight. A must have for any family who flies to avoid the hassle of trying to get bags underweight at the ticket counter. Recently used it for a family trip through Europe, where many of the discount carriers can be persnickety about bag weight, and all of our bags came in just under the airlines' weight limits every time. Others in line weren't so lucky. Don't be like them. Be like me!!

The second time I used this scale, on a bag weighing less than 50lbs, the plastic clasp broke. I arranged for a replacement, thinking it was just bad luck, but I had the same experience with the replacement. This product can not handle lifting standard checked baggage without breaking.I’m outside the return window now, so I’ll just have to eat the cost of this terrible product.

Our previous Balanzza Mini was battery operated - and it never worked well. We called the company and they suggested this alternative. (In fact, they sent us one as a replacement, in addition to the one we purchased here)This USB rechargable scale is perfect. Works as designed and we don't have to worry about the battery failing or falling out or non-functioning - all problems we had with the original battery-operated style.Customer service at Balanzza is good, but could be better - it's difficult to contact them by telephone, but once you do get a person to speak to they are very helpful.

Item good for traveling and accurate

I really wanted to love this luggage scale. It seemed well constructed and exactly what I needed to avoid baggage overages, but alas I fell victim not once, but twice to the garbage battery issue. I ordered one of these to find it would not hold a charge and only operate when attached to the charger. I returned it hoping it was a one off defect only to receive another one that had the exact same issue. I mistakenly only checked other reviews after buying this to see that there are around 25% 1 star reviews and most of them are dealing with the same battery issue. This scale seems to meet all of my needs, its rechargeable, its portable, it seems well constructed and easy to use, and from what I had heard Balanzza put the first rechargeable luggage scale out on the market, so I thought this would be the one for me. Unfortunately it was junk. Balanzza should have prided themselves on their first to market status and kept producing a quality product. Instead they put profits over quality and ran their name into the ground. Look elsewhere when buying a luggage scale. This one is garbage.

Overall this is a great scale - rechargeable with micro-USB, compact, and great reviews from the sites I trust (which is what got me to buy it.The negative - the luggage needs to be perfectly still for seems like 2 seconds before it beeps and you get a reading. If you've got a bag that's close to 50 pounds, it is not easy to hold aloft long enough for it to stop swinging and get a reading. I wish it had a "close enough" setting so I could know if I'm over or under 50 pounds.Other than that, it is very handy to have.

Small and light. Accurate. Checking in the airlines scale was within ounces. The buckle is a little tight so I added a carabiner to attach to luggage. The fact that it defaults to kilograms is a little annoying. Did not require a recharge after sitting for three weeks.

This was recommended from the Wirecutter and it worked out great when we had to travel to Europe. It's really compact and you can recharge via USB. When we checked in our luggage, it was pretty accurate. I might want to gift these to my family overseas when they visit us. I think that it would come in real handy for them.

It is easy to use and convenient. I’m going to take it with me so I don’t get caught with excess baggage on the way home.

It s good because it have the usb charge but too long before give the pound .... it’s hard to stabilize a case of 23 kg 💪
