We recommend the 5 Lever British Standard approved mortice lock that ensures maximum protection for your main access points. Style & Colour The two types of mortice locks you may find are sashlock, that ensures keeping the door closed without locking it and deadlock, which only ensure locking. Also, choose from the two available finishes, Polish Brass or Polished Chrome, to fit the style of your home or with door accessories. Case Size & Measurements Case sizes are available in 64mm (2.5 inch) for a 45mm door backset and 76mm (3 inch) a 57mm backset to fit a variety of doors. Review: Good value and qaulity ,not an exact fit on older installs but not impossible . - This was to replace a 20 + years '5 Lever Mortice Deadlock' and not much had changed in that time as far as design principles, but the dimensions and keyhole layout geometry were different in my case and this meant akward labour, if like me you're not a experienced fitter.
