This device has a 1/4” square socket designed to fit a square drum tension rod. Trying to use this on a banjo would literally require fitting a hex head in a square hole! **Q: Does this fit the string adjustment pins on pianos. Looking for a wrench to disassemble the strings from an upright piano wanting to repurpose?** A: They have it at guitar center... u can prob find out in store if it fits on piano pins👍 **Q: Is this "extremely handy?"** A: Its cool... i think if you change drum heads a lot its worth getting. They also have em at guitar center if ya got one close by **Q: I have a pearl Marching bass drum. Will this work?** A: Yes, it will work on any drum. From my experience it works best on newer / clean drums, rust and gunk build up will cause the tension to pop the torque key. ## Frequently Bought Together - Evans Magnetic Head Drum Key - Vic Firth American Classic 5A Drum Sticks - Evans EQ Pods Drum Damper Gels - Teflon-Coated Top Side Drum Dampeners - Stain-free, Holds Shape - Apply and Remove - Keeps Grip, Shape, Effectiveness - 7 Pods --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/51806640-evans-dadk-magnetic-head-drum-key-chrome-5-75-in](https://www.desertcart.be/products/51806640-evans-dadk-magnetic-head-drum-key-chrome-5-75-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
