Remote shutter only works within 3 feet of phone
The tripod is fine but the remote control only interacts with the Bluetooth on the phone if it is less than 3 feet away. There is no reason to buy it as it defeats the purpose of having a remote that can only reach as far as the length of my arms. I know the issue is not with my phone because my Bluetooth headphones and other devices work 15 to 20 feet away at least and I have a little speaker that works about 30 feet away

Cheap plastic!
Don’t buy! The day we got it, one leg broke off right at the joint. Turns out the core is just plastic. Spend a little more and get a metal one.Update: Kingyee offered to replace or refund this item. I am updating the review to reflect their quick response and willingness to address the problem.

Leg connection made of cheap metal!
Just after using the tripod a few times one of the legs broke off the base. Looked like it was made of pot metal.

Tripod is GREAT, remote is awful ⬇️
The tripod is great!!! It’s bendy but sturdy and a nice purchase. The remote on the other hand was junk, it took .......FOREVER..... to pair with phone and the only thing it would do was turn it up, (not up and down) just up!!!!! Very annoying. I started to send it back but the tripod was so cute I decided to use it.

Doesn’t work.
Really disappointed with this Bluetooth shutter release. Worked great out of the box, at over 10 feet away. Didn’t use it again until a few weeks later and it would not pair with my phone. I changed the battery but still nothing. Hopefully the seller will remedy this by sending a working remote.

Great as an alternative to a selfie stick
Ordered this as an impulse buy after seeing one at a friends house. Wow. VERY useful. Particularly good for traveling, family events, etc. We've used it in place of a selfie-stick b/c it allows me to frame the picture such that it doesn't LOOK like a selfie. Great product at a good price.

Functional and versatile for taking pictures
Works with Android or iPhones. We have been very happy with this product! We haven't found an issue with it yet.
