The plastic is still on the cheaper side compared to the original, but not such that you wouldn't want to use it, and if the silicon protective sleeve is on you barely notice.The responsiveness and accuracy is on par with a branded wiimote and I assume the original item was simply a faulty unit. Customer care have taken note of the sensor issue and promised to add additional checks at production for this issue.This is a suitable replacement for your wiimote + nunchuck if you require one. I would suggest getting a silicon cap for the thumbstick on the nunchuck though as the cheaper build is a bit hard. I used a spare one from my switch and it stretched enough to fit nicely and feels much better.Colour is nice and vibrant.Original review below based on a faulty unit that I received:Comes in a bag, not a box. First sign that this might be lower quality than you'd think for the price.The build quality is much lower than the original wii remotes. Held side by side you can tell the plastic is cheaper. That shouldn't be much of an issue with the rubber cover on, but the sensor seems cheaper too.Calibrating sensitivity with the original, I can see the 2 dots from the sensor bar and they don't quiver and quake.The on-screen hand from this remote was a quite shaky though so I went to calibrate and I can see the 2 dots, but suddenly one dot will start quivering back and forth until you start moving around. When you come back to rest though the same dot or the other dot will start shaking like a pooping dog. This makes pushing on-screen buttons and selecting things quite annoying. It's ok for big swing like tennis, but not so fine selecting your character in mario party.Then, when plugging in the nunchuck, it wouldn't go in. I checked orientation and made sure not to try any real force since it should just pop in (and I had a hunch what the issue was already). It was the right way up, but still wouldn't slip in. Checked inside the plug and sure enough, a bent pin too high up and blocking the plug. Simple enough to fix with a pen, but really shoddy workmanship.For the price you're better off paying just a little more and picking up a second hand original from a high street second hand chain store. If the colour is important then you may be paying a little more, but otherwise you can get a good original remote for the same price as this, only better quality construction and (more importantly) better performance.I'd refund it except it technically does what it says and I guess I can use it as an emergency backup (plus I don't want to deal with the hassle of digging the packaging out the bin and posting it back)TL;DR: Cheap remote. Sensor is dodgy. Nunchuck didn't go in until I straightened a pin in the plug with a pen. Buy a second hand original for the same price instead. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great Wii Remote replacement *by S***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2021* This is a great value replacement controller and nunchuck and the bright blue colour will certainly ensure you don’t lose it.Synching is easy, just press the button on the back of the controller and then on the front of the Wii. Takes seconds.The controller comes with a protective cover which adds a surprising amount of grip and was really comfortable even after extended play.Motion Plus is built into this controller and if you’ve used it as a clip on you’ll know how much it improves movement accuracy. The benefit here the controller is the same as a standard one.Only criticism I have is that the C button it quite flush. It still works ok, I’ve just added a bit of sugru to pad it out.Would highly recommend for a complete package with Motion Plus built in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Value - Needs Work on Sound *by D***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2019* Ok so we have used our controllers several times and I have to say they are good value for money. However, I have noticed as we use them more and more there are a few things that aren't quite as one would expect. What is important to mention is we purchased two models so we can compare.The sound is definitely different in one of the handsets, it sounds like Darth Vadar having a melt down. The motion works, however the other day when using my Fit Board it caused the remote to omit a constant motion and sound resulting in me turning everything off and on again and it seemed to right itself.The remotes are what you would expect. Only time will tell whether they last a year. Would I recommend yes I guess I would but with a caveat they are not original Wii remotes so do not expect a similar build quality, motion or auditory experience.
