Perhaps this hairbrush is better for men, or for short thin hair, but I originally bought this because I thought it was a half-round style brush which I have been using for years. It was not. Seems the half round boar brushes have become a thing of the past and hard to get, but I thought I would give this brush a try, and to my disappointment, it didn't even brush through my hair, which is long. I don't do well with the full round style, but this one definitely did not make the grade for my use.
