Extra Large Silicone Cupcake Muffin Cups 12 Pack, 3.54 Inch

I have another similar set of the silicone muffin cups that is smaller and decided to buy this set of larger ones. Prior to buying this set and the other I have, I found previous sets to be too flimsy, and everything stuck to them. This isn't the case with these silicone muffin cups, although, depending on what you are baking or cooking, spritzing them with Pam or olive oil will often make cleanup much easier. Soaking them in warm water, soapy water also helps for some foods. In addition, an old toothbrush is very helpful to remove any food that may stick in the grooves of the cups. So, why do I love these silicone baking cups? 1) They are a larger size than many and more useful for some recipes. 2) You don't need a muffin tin or paper liners to use them. They are thick enough to hold up during cooking without using a muffin tin. I put them on a tin foil lined cookie sheet to eliminate cleanup of any runover or dripping on the pan when filling, 3) Although cleaning them is pretty easy since most foods don't stick, using a cooking spray helps to prevent sticking and an old toothbrush easily removed any food that sticks in the crevices. 4) In addition to using them in the oven for the obvious muffins and cupcakes, you can float them in a pan of boiling water to make poached eggs or use them in the microwave oven to make a quick breakfast egg cup with onions, cut peppers and cheese or other ingredients of your choice. 5) Since these silicone muffin/cupcake cups can be used in the oven, the microwave, and in boiling water, the uses for them are limited only by your imagination. These are wonderful. Muffins just tumble out of cup, easy to cool down food. Easy to clean and I don’t ruin my metal muffin pans with cleaning. Highly recommend

l have had these for almost a year and had to write a review. l love them. Baking muffins is easy and they come out evenly baked every time, and are easy to remove without using cooking spray. l have found other ways to uses these as well. Great for serving small snacks, like candy or nuts. Great for pouring warmed maple syrup on pancakes and French toast. Great for prep use instead of ramekins. Great for small portions of baked beans, which can be heated in the microwave, or coleslaw, potato, or broccoli salad. These are easy to clean and stack nicely, hardly taking up any room. l love them.

I was tired of making frittatas using paper or foil wrappers. These work great and the frittatas pop right out. I haven't had the chance to try muffins but I'm guessing the results will be the same.

These muffin cups are GREAT for dogs!! I walk dogs for a living and I keep a stack of these in my car with water bottles for long walks. It's nice to be able to fold one of these into my fanny pack with a small bottle of water for my dogs on long walk or hot walks. They easily fit in my pocket as well, and are not as bulky as the collapsable bowls out there. I have had people stop and ask what I am using to offer my dogs water, and now I bring an extra every time and hand them out when I see another dog that looks like they might need some water. They wash easily, with soap and white vinegar. I also started using them to portion out snacks and fruit. I will be getting a lot more of these.

I do love the colors and the re-usability of these. The silicone is thick enough to be sturdy, thin enough to turn muffins out cleaning. I had hoped that they would be the right size to fit the jumbo muffin pan, and they do fit, but they're a tad smaller so the tin has a wee empty space between the sides of the tin and the silicone mold. They are tall enough that they nestle down into the wells without being short or too tall, which is lovely. I will definitely keep them; the ease of having these, even though a tad small, is better than the alternatives!

I am very happy using these silicone cups. I tried spraying one with PAM and one without. I let the muffins cool in the cups and then each slid out of the cup with no problem.

These cups are perfect! I've used them several times, washed in the dishwasher, and they're still like new. Large capacity as stated. Satisfied customer.

These are very impressive. The muffins do not dry out. I peel the molds when the muffins are cooled then wash them by hand to store or use again. I would highly recommend them. I have two sizes and am very happy with both.
