fabulous paranormal romance with a good storyline
Tempt Me. Underbelly Chronicles Book Three. Tamara Hogan.Arc supplied via Netgalley.Well, yet again I've jumped into an existing series but luckily this story wasn't difficult to pick up. Its clear there's bits that were events from previous books that affect this one, but its easy to work out a rough idea of what happened. Its a terrific story, and I'd love to read the previous two books, its a series I'd definitely keep for re reading. Its got all the elements I love - spicy, sensual, sexy romance, paranormals, lots of action, and characters that feel real. I loved Bailey, dedicated to the people who've supported her far more than her own family, she's a workaholic and determined to protect them with her pc tech skills. There's a big threat currently facing the firm from a hacker, so she's been working almost round the clock and is in danger of burnout. Lucas - one of the firms heads, sends her for a weekend away from the problems at the family cabin. When she arrives though the delicious Rafe, another family member, is there. She'd been told he'd be away, and she's been trying to avoid him since they had an unexpected steamy encounter a year ago - he's the family playboy and she doesn't want anything to upset her current position with the family. What she doesn't know though is Rafe still wants her, hasn't been able to get her out of his head....and is currently working on a sculpture of her at the cabin.Back after the weekend there's a real threat coming to the firm again, and it seems to be coming from an obsessive ex of Bailey. Lucas asks Rafe to pose as Baileys lover to see if they can draw him out - and as the two are already very close(!) that tips them both into a full blown relationship - Bailey decides she'll enjoy it while it lasts, knowing Rafe doesn't have a reputation for staying long with one person. Rafe plans for more with her though - so he's go to work her to persuade her he's more than just his reputation. Its a really steamy read, with a fantastic story backing it up. To me that's one of the best types of romance, I don't want a boy meets girl and they live happily ever after - I want the happy ending, but need lots of adventure and problems along the journey, and this book did all that perfectly. Loved it- I'd love to read the earlier ones, and of course any future ones. Priced at £2.63 for 272 pages, 1518kb its a real bargain if you love a solid paranormal romance with a decent story supporting it.Stars: full five of course!

Tempt Me Review
The third book in the Underbelly Chronicles is paranormal story of suspense, friendships, romance, and sex demons.Bailey is an ex-con computer genius who uses her skills to protect the secret of paranormals from humanity. Rafe is a sculptor and incubus and also happens to be the brother of Bailey's Boss. Due to emotional issues they both fight the strong attraction they have to each other and then are further complicated when a Bailey's past becomes the latest threat to the paranormals security. All the characters in the book are strong, vibrant characters that draw the reader in, but these two really made an impression with me. The author conveyed their emotions and personalities so well that I could easily relate to them and the conflict happening around them. This intriguing world keeps the reader engaged throughout the book with some surprises and appropriate dialogue. Even though this story is about computer security got the point of the events taking place without overloading the reader's brains with confusing technological language. The plot was well written with a pace that flowed smoothly from one scene to the next and the romance was also appropriately paced throughout the book with some well written love scenes and a couple of interesting romance scenes that made my heart leap with joy for this couple. This bewitching book kept me well entertained until the very end which concluded with a well deserved happily ever after for the heroine of this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Great read - fast paced and very entertaining!
I love how the author combines the real world that we all live in with a great fantasy world that involves the same type of politics and social issues that we experience. When I began reading "Tempt Me", I simply could not put the book down until I had devoured the entire story! Its a great read - fast paced and very entertaining!
