If I buy the replacement could you add another plastic storage cap to it?

However, these are not sent directly from us to the customer, therefore it is unfortunately not possible to change the packaging units. Does the probe come pre-calibrated or does it need to be calibrated when attatched to the meter?

The probe is already pre-calibrated. However, to increase accuracy, you can calibrate again, but it's not a must.

Is the probe supposed to be stored in kcl solution when not is use? if not, how is it best stored? thanks.

The pH probe must always be kept moist. When the electrode is not in use, the pH probe should be kept in a 3 mol/l KCl solution. If the pH probe dries out, performance and response are impaired. To remoisten it, the probe must be soaked in 3 mol/l KCl for 24 hours.
