Perfect fit for the Montana 700. Glad I bought it.

It's going to work, but it's a little flimsy and the fit is a little sloppy.

Full disclosure - I received this product as a member of the Amazon VINES review program. The comments and opinions are based on my knowledge of similar products and experience using the product listed.I can't speak to the suitability for the advertised purpose of a replacement case for a Garmin GPS since I repurposed this to be a soft sided case for the "18650 Battery Charger, MiBOXER Smart Universal 4-Bay Charger, Automatic LCD Display …." (sold on Amazon). The size was a perfect fit with enough extra space to also hold the AC cord and the charger manual.The case size is 8.26" tall by 4.72" wide by 1.96" front to back and is made of a lightweight oxford cloth material, well sewn together. The interior has a soft velvety texture providing protection from scratches. The lid has a Velcro closure for easy access. I am well pleased how it fits its repurposed task. I'm sure it would perform just as well for the Garmin GPS it was intended for.
