I put the tape on a pot of Sweet Williams, which were covered in snails. After the first day with tape there were a few snails which were using nearby growth as a bridge. After cutting this down snails disappeared.

Works OK.

Great for veg containers

Bought this as its supposed to keep slugs and snails off the plants in pots . Next day I went out there was a snail under the rim of the pot . Maybe my snails are immune to it !

This roll of Copper Foil Tape arrives in a clear, plastic, gripseal bag. Around the outside of the tape is a ring of plastic wrap, keeping the tape securely in place.Although described as being 25mm wide, the tape I received was only 20mm wide; a 20% difference in size. Whilst I didn’t check to see if it was truly 20m long, given the width isn’t correct, I have little reason to trust the length measurement either.The thin layer of copper is fairly easy to peel off the backing. The adhesive is quite strong, and has no issue sticking to smoother surfaces. Whilst it did stick to coarser surfaces, such as a wooden frame, it wasn’t as secure, and I suspect with rain will soon come off.I can’t speak to using it for electronic applications, but using it in the garden to protect from slugs and snails was a mixed bag. I did observe some slugs and snails to be put off by it, but others crossed with seemingly no issues at all.In conclusion, this tape is not as advertised, being just 20mm wide instead of 25mm. On top of this, for use in the garden, it is not the solution it claims to be. As a result, I can not recommend this tape. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1, is because I can not say how well it would work for the electrical applications it is said to be useful for.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest and impartial opinion about it.
