I brought them for my brother cause he was in track and field!! And he loves them.

They are just as heavy as normal spikes.
I paid twice as much for multiple packs of gold spikes that are supposed to be lighter. They are supposed to be .65g while normal spikes are 1.3g. The gold is the spikes purchased this page and actually weighs more than the cheaper steel version. I believe they are just steel spikes colored gold. They are taking your money and giving you crap!

Heavy gold spikes
Advertised as light carbon. I bout both colors of red and gold. The red are light weight. The gold are obviously heavier.
