badasheng Improved Microphone Gaming Headset for PS4, Xbox One, Smartphone, Tablet, PC (Black)

I had been looking for gaming headset for a number of months when I stumbled upon the Badasheng BDS-939PBU. Impressed by the price and the good reviews I thought, why not? I had originally been planning to buy one of the official Sony headsets, but they're a bit of a rip off - plus I can use these ones with my PC. I got these delivered to a local Amazon locker (due to me living in a flat with an insecure post room). Came the next day as expected with Prime. The headphones were not in an amazon box, instead the delivery labels were stuck directly to the product packaging itself, not a big issue (and if I remember correctly, there is an option at checkout to have them delivered in a box - something I overlooked). Regardless of this, the box was in a good condition. The headset feels good quality and so far has been very comfortable when wearing for long periods of time (I'd say I game for around 1-5 hours per 'session' so I cant comment on comfort for any longer periods).Sound quality is better than I had expected for the price of these headphones - the bass is very deep and rich and they offer 360 degree surround sound which is very useful when people are trying to creep up on you. I mainly bought this headset because I like to get immersed into the games I play, and they definitely help!The headset comes with 2 removable microphones which are flexible so you can move them as required. Unfortunately I'm not sure what the difference in these microphones is, I've just been using the one that has the 2 lines running round the jack. I have been told by my friends I sound very clear though, making these good for Skype conversations etc.If you're a serious gamer, these may not be what you're looking for - but for casual gaming they're great!!!

After reading other reviews, I had high hopes for this headset. The other reviews have not let me down as this truly is a high quality, value for money gaming headset.I received this product swiftly thanks to amazon prime - the headset itself was neatly packaged into a small box which was simplistic, with the headphones well protected in a plastic case.The first thing I love about these headphones is that the finish is matte black - this means you won't have any irritating finger prints all over it in comparison to other, more expensive headsets with a glossy finish.Also, they feel very sturdy in the hand and so I am sure they will last a long time. Despite them feeling sturdy, I am pleasantly surprised by how light the headset are. This means that they feel very comfortable and can easily be worn for a long periods at a time which is excellent for gamingThe other great feature about this headset is that the microphone is detachable and can be easily bent to accommodate for different face shapes etc - this ensures you can find the optimal position for voice transmission. In terms of the microphone quality I was blown away - the clarity is crystal clear and is just what you need for getting messages across to teammates in game. Not only this, there were two microphones packaged into the box - I don't doubt for a minute that they are high quality, but it's very reassuring to have two just in case something goes wrong.Finally, you can tell that the sound of these headphones are perfectly suited to gaming. They are very neutral, without fancy EQ on other headphones which are more designed for music. This makes listening to speech very clear and natural, and also allows for great contrast between speech (e.g. in cut scenes) to loud gunshots in FPS games.All in all, if you're looking for a relatively cheap gaming headset which you can use for a wide range of devices, I would definitely recommend purchasing this for it's Comfort, Microphone quality, and great price point.

Arrived on time from Amazon..This Headset is Designed for the PS4 and anything with a 3.5mm jack,However it also comes with an adaptor plug and cable, to use with the PC, So you have plugs for both the microphone and audio.The Headset is Cool looking, I picked the Yellow one, I was looking for a less bulky one, than the headsets I currently use. And lighter.I've worn them for 1- 2 hours and not had any issues. The Pads are soft and padded around the headband and the ear cups and the cups are big enough to stay on my ears and enclose them.This Badasheneg headset comes with 2, Flexible microphones, They simple push in.The Quality of voice output is Good, clear audio.The headset has a simplified in-line volume control along the wire, With a scrolling wheel It also has a power button to turn it off.The Sound Quality is good and clear in Both ear cups.Overall a Nice lightweight Headset. Great Value for my Money.

I returned this item as there was a distinct and seemingly unavoidable echo when using it. Other players in my group could hear both themselves and my game sound when my microphone as un-muted. I tried minimising any feedback by reducing the volume of the headset, ensuing the TV speakers were off, and repositioning the microphone, but the feedback persisted. The package contained two different microphones and I could see no instruction of which to use in which circumstance. I therefore tested with both microphones.The ear cups were soft but did not sit comfortably over my ears. The instructions were in very poor English and didn't make much sense.I used this item on an xbox one, using the official TRRS adapter for the xbox controller. I consider myself very technically able.I've returned this item and instead ordered the (more expensive) "HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset for PC/PS4/Mac": https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KX3TLF4. They do not have this problem and are amazingly comfortable.
