ADC Adtemp 419 - Hypothermia Thermometer

Great thermometer!!! The doctors could not figure out why my mom couldn’t stop shaking, they thought she had Parkinson’s. On a hunch I bought her this thermometer and it turns out her core temperature was 95 degrees. So grateful for this product!

Worked well, easy to use

These are difficult to find. I haven’t had to use it, but I’m glad I have it.

I work in a very busy veterinary referral/ER clinic. I loved that this can detect temperatures on hypo- and hyperthermic patients (highest reading I got was over 111*). Worked great for about 2 months until the tip broke off during cleaning it one evening. :(EDIT 3/15/18: I did end up buying a second one, since the hypo- and hyper-thermic readings were important to me in a veterinary ER/ICU. All too often we'd have a very cold kitten come in or other similar patient where their temperature was too low or too high to read and the techs would come find me to use my thermometer, which would register a temp (especially those hypothermic kittens that don't register because their temps are in the high 80's/low 90's!!!!). Since repurchasing, I have been more careful about cleaning the tip. So far, so good. Changed rating from 3/5 to 4/5 stars.
