Size Name:1 Pack | Style Name:Set 14-Piece 8-Inch Carbide Stacking Dado Blade Set (416381) (2) 8" x 24T Carbide Saw Blades (1) 1/16" Chipper Blade (4) 1/8" Chipper Blades (7) Metal Shims Instructions Durable case MIBRO's 8" Stacking Dado cuts clean edges, square shoulders and flat bottoms. Use the Dado to cut smooth and precise flat-bottomed grooves, either across or with the grain in all types of wood, plywood and composite wood materials. It's ideal for the DIY, home or woodworking enthusiast, and light professional user. Cut grooves ranging in width from 1/4" to 13/16", increasing in 1/16" increments. Can make a variety of different cuts, including Dado, Groove, Rabbet, Fillet, and Mortise & Tenon. Blade Technology For both the outside blades and the chippers, each tooth is electronically welded onto the blade body by fully-automated equipment from Germany. This ensures exact, centered placement and the correct amount of brazing material. Extra large carbide teeth make for longer lasting blades and overall life. Premium carbide helps to ensure the carbide does not chip or fracture easily. 8" Outside Cutting Blades The two outside cutting blades have an 8" diameter with 24 carbide teeth. Both blades have a tooth pattern of 5 beveled cutting teeth, followed by 1 straight raker tooth. The anti-kickback tooth profile prevents the blade from being fed material too quickly. 5 Chipper Blades Set includes one (1) 1/16" Chipper and four (4) 1/8" Chippers. Each Chipper Blade features two extra-large carbide teeth, which are also electronically welded onto the blade body by fully-automated equipment from Germany. The Chipper Blades are ground on the same equipment, at the same time, as the Outside Blades. This ensures that all of the blades together will cut a flat-bottomed groove. 7 Metal Shims Use the seven included metal shims for fine adjustments to the overall width of the Dado setup. Shim widths range from 0.004" to 0.096". All of the shims have a 3-5/32" diameter and 5/8" arbor hole.

Set-up and test review
I purchased the dado set on 26 June, living in the UK I expected a long delay before taking delivery. To the contrary, the well packaged stacking dado set arrived on the 5 July. On opening all the contents were present in a very well thought-out attractive protective case, the blades were flat with all the tungsten tips showing no signs of chipping. Now for a real test: I set-up a 15mm (5/8") dado set - which was very easy to do. I assembled the set on a short 5/8" stub placing the inner blades at 90 degree offset to the outer blades, taped the blades across the tips in four places - to maintain their place, friction kept the spacers in place - and transferred the stack to the saw arbor, tightened the retaining nut, checked the width setting before removing the blade locating tape. Then proceeded to rip cut a 20mm (3/4") deep groove down 378 mt. (1240 ft) of C24 pine. The job was completed very quickly. On inspection the grooves were the correct width, flat bottomed with clean sharp arris. The tips, after cutting, were all intact and still sharp, ready to cut another batch.I'm very pleased with my purchase, and going on my experience, do not let living in the UK deter you from purchasing this excellent piece of kit.

Good-looking bit of kit.
Looks amazing, really solid construction. Have yet to try to install it, but I gather that I may need to modify my table saw. That's fine, I'll report back when it's been used in anger.
