A: The product itself is approximately 2inches by 2 inches by 1 inch tall.

**Q: What size screwdriver is needed to open the battery compartment? It is very difficult to open.**
A: You need a screwdriver for eyeglasses. You can get them at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart.  Very easy to open

**Q: can this heart just sit by itself on a desk?**
A: Absolutely. I stitched them into a couple Magic Dragon stuffed animals. Bit they would work equally as well just sitting out.

**Q: can you use this to record baby crying?**
A: I didn't purchase this to record my great granddaughter crying.  I ordered it to record her mother's heartMother's and then place them in her favorite stuffed bears.
