Great selections and pictures.

I've made two patterns out of this book so far. One was fine, the other was riddled with small errors. I would consider myself fairly experienced at this craft, so the errors did not prevent me from making the pattern. However, I had to very carefully examine the photograph of the completed blanket in order to figure out what the pattern was supposed to show.Both patterns I have done are shown on the back cover. I do not remember encountering any errors in the one shown in the large picture - the blue medallions with yellow trim. The one shown in the lower right corner was the one with errors. There are errors in both the written instructions and in the actual pattern diagram. If you intend to use that pattern, proceed with caution and use the photograph as an additional guide. I have not examined any of the other patterns closely enough to determine if they have errors.

Love the patterns and I do this alot

I like the fact that the patterns are a breakaway from the more traditional style of swedish weaving styles. Charts are clear to follow. If anyone thinks that the prices of the swedish weaving books are excessive (I don't) try buying a single pattern--they start at $5 and go up to $8. 50.Can't wait to start the Golden Pathways pattern. Thank you.

Swedish weaving is a little known craft, yet it is so easy to learn! This book contains beautiful patterns for all ability levels. I would reccomend adding this book to your library. To get more info, I would also reccomend sites like www.monksclothandmore.com for materials and kits.

I haven't made one yet, but will very soon. I love these designs. The one on the cover is soon to be a wedding present. Can't wait to start on it!

Gift for my mom, she loved it

After buying the book, and looking through it several times, I decided to make the throw shown on the front cover. As a complete beginner, I have been very pleased with how easy it has been to follow the instructions. I have not given it 5 stars, as I feel that I would have liked a little more detail, for example on how to finish off threads, but otherwise, a good book for a complete novice.

I have the cover afghan just about finished and I have others earmarked for my winter projects. Easy to follow.
