Gliderol Roller Garage Door Handle and Lock 5" New Style Lock

Been needing one of these for ages, but reluctant to pay price asked but little option as can't find this lock anywhere else.Fairly simple to fit if you have a lightweight rivet gun with smallest rivet, otherwise you can use two very small nuts and bolts. I used rivet and it fits nice and snug just as it should.Comes with a pair of keys that needed a bit of filing to make them fit smoothly but no drama.Very pleased to have a door that locks but feel a tad heavy on price for what it is.

Straight-forward to replace the existing locking mechanism. Throw bars are secured with pop rivets, so need to drill these out and re-secure the new lock with either self-tappers or small bolt and nut. However, still should be easy-peasy for an average DIY-er. Replaced this on my son's garage, as its always good practice to replace all the locks when you move home. Ony 4 stars as the cost is too high. A replacement lock for an 'up and over' garage door can be bought on-line for half the cost.

Straight forward install,Drill the old rivets out and replace with a small nut and bolt drop a blob of super glue on the nut so it doesnt undo.

Arrived quickly and easy to install. You have to drill out rivets on connection to bars but easy to do. I replaced rivets with small bolts.

I felt it was a bit pricey for what it was but it was easy to fit and was supplied with a metal version of the plastic twist knob that was the cause of the failure on my original lock. Would be nicer if they just sold the replacement metal knob.

Exact replacement for the original. Just use a couple of small bolts instead of the original rivets

Does the job.Plastic around retaining screws not robust enough to hold screws securely. One receptical cracked on delivery.
