Do they actually tastes of cheddar? Or is cheddar bay just a brand name?

Yes they do taste of Cheddar as you have to add it to your mix. The packet also has another mix inside of garlic and herb of which you mix with melted butter and using pastry brush you coat each one after they have been cooked. They taste of cheese, garlic and herbs. Very delicious
