Every yachtmsman must-have
If I'm to recommend just one book to put into your pocket before stepping into a plane to start your sailing vacation this is Reeds Weather Handbook - you'll read through it over a glass of wine and be prepared to cooperate with the weather. Solid knowledge, packed into compact book! Must have in your on-board library.

Useful but limited.
Possibly a bit harsh given the vastness on the subject. It won't make you a weather expert but does have useful summaries of the important stuff!
