UPDATE - The new hitch arrived quickly and this time each of the nuts were welded perfectly and each is aligned just as it should be. Install was a breeze and it looks great. No instructions included but easy install nonetheless. Had to guess at torque and for this based on similar hitches and bolt sizes torqued to 110 ft-lbs.———————This hitch seems to be well built with ok welds and finish EXCEPT for the four nuts. As you’ll see in my photos each nut has been welded on crooked. One of them so badly the installed bolt is almost a whole diameter off at the front face. I had heard there were other customers who had a similar alignment problems so I reversed the bolts and installed from the rear to check alignment. All four are bad. It would be impossible to install without cross threading the nuts. It’s too bad because the welded nuts are a feature I was looking for since that simplifies the install and completely eliminates the need to even consider removing the bumper. I will return and ask for a replacement and will update my rating if I can get a new hitch with the nuts properly welded.

Like other reviewers said, this thing installs in less than 15 minutes because the bolts install from the rear instead of the front like some other hitch bolts and the only reason it takes more than 5 minutes is finding something - I used a service jack - or someone to hold it up while you insert the bolts. Once bolted on it is as solid as the vehicle frame and perfect for trailer-hitch accessories and, if add trailer wiring, towing a small trailer.

I bought it because it said aluminum alloy but it’s steel. It heavy and magnets stick to it. Total rip off
