Latchbolt is withdrawn by handle from inside and key outside. Bolt and knob can be deadlocked by key from outside or by snib inside. Snib also operates latch holdback facility.

Fit form and function good
Bought as a direct replacement and it was exactly that. Works ok and can be set as dead lock or not. It’s steel coated with brass plate.
