Relatively simple to put together although the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The clips are found fastened to the inside of the panels so they need removing first then it is just a simple matter of holding the panels at right angles to each other and sliding the clips down to lock them together. A second pair of hands might be needed to hold things together. Two of the panels have sliding hatches in them so you will need to decide where you want them. The lid needs to be fastened together (it does fit correctly together, it just tries not to) and a decision making of which side it will be hinged onto. The hinge pins push in and it's all ready to use.

It was not easy to put together and the lid still hasn't clicked into place. When I finally did get it together, it was quite flimsy, but I'm giving it a go and hoping to make some good compost.

Very disappointed with the construction of this item. No instructions supplied with the exception of some very small photos. The plastic seems tough but especially brittle. I would not recommend unless you have strong fingers. The joint clips are hidden away under both halves of the lid. Which neither I nor my brother could put together. Whenever we got close it felt like something was going to snap, so I'm not going to bother....... Don't know why a compost bin needs a lid anyway.

Really good design, a little flimsy, but in a sheltered spot works really well. No instructions for putting together, but figured it out, lid is better if you use cable ties as prone to fly off. Overall does the job and good value for the money.

My old large and much loved composter wore out and I was looking around for a replacement! This was the right shape and size and was one of the few that met my basic requirements. As per the other reviews the assembly is quite hard and fiddly as the clips are a very tight fit. The positive of this is that as it is rather flimsily made (a bit broke off in assembly) the tight fit holds the assembled box reasonably rigid. I do have doubts over durability and do not expect it to last very long. However it was not that expensive. The main question is whether it will make good compost? Here I have reservations as the thin plastic does not seem to provide great insulation and I am not sure whether it will generate sufficient heat to rot down the contents quickly and efficiently. That remains to be seen. As a short term solution it works but do not expect too much.Having now used this bin since I wrote my original review above my fears have proven correct. The flimsy construction means that when the bin is filling up the two access flaps are not strong enough to stay in place and the compost spills out. It is of little use to me and I am looking for a suitable replacement.

Snaps together with a little effort (elbow grease); the slid sort of 'X' together and then slides on using the metal pins. As usual, the instructions are rubbish.Seems to be ok in my garden, other than the lid does fill with rainwater, so be aware when opening.Does what it says on the tin !!

great delivery service. Bit tricky to put together - required 2 people and directions were by reference to very small pictures. BUT the finished product is very sturdy and excellent value for money. I'm going to order more.
