The device is fanless, so it uses the metal case as a big heat sync. **Q: Are there built-in wireless antennas (wireless led indicators on box) or does it assume/detect wireless is connected to certain lan ports?** A: There is no built in wireless card. The Vault has two full height PCIe slots, one of which is used by the mSATA SSD. The other can be populated with a USB based PCIe wireless adapter.
