Received this bed skirt today and it was exactly as I expected. I got the sage color and it works perfectly with my existing comforter and pillows. Someone in a previous review said their skirt didn't have split corners but mine did. I don't have a footboard so it wouldn't matter but I thought I should mention this. One thing I specifically like is that the material that goes under the mattress isn't so thin that it tears if you pull to straighten it. My previous one did and I've always hated that.

I bought this skirt, and also the pillow shams. Both, so far are keepers. I’ve had them a few months, and they wash fine in cold wash, with fabric softener. I put in dryer for about 10 minutes, with fabric softener sheet. and put on bed ASAP, because if I fold skirt, the folds will show, and I’m retired from ironing.

This skirt has so much going for it. The material of the drop portion isn’t thick but it is handsome, opaque and drapes nicely. Plus, it wasn’t crammed tightly in a small cube for packaging, creating almost-permanent fold lines as is sometimes the case. Thus, I was able to iron out the wrinkles in less than ten minutes, right out of the package, using a steam iron. Further, the material of the platform is actually fabric so if your iron touches it, it doesn’t disappear like a piece of lit paper.So what’s the drawback? I ordered the full skirt which is supposed to measure 54” x 75” according to the answer from the seller in a question on Amazon and according to the packaging material, yet the one I received is 57.5” x 75.” I thought perhaps a queen had been mistakenly been packaged as a full, yet that packaging material indicates that a queen is 60” wide.This is not a dealbreaker for me because my bed has a footboard and I have a cedar chest at the end of the bed. I just folded the extra 2.5” in, along the length of the mattress in the middle, which should keep it in place. Thus, I should only have to deal with again this when removing for washing. For others, however, who don’t have a chest hiding the bottom of the bed, this probably wouldn’t be a satisfactory solution.

While the sides are black as advertised, the top (the part that goes under the mattress) is white. If your mattress does not cover the top of the bed frame completely (eg, it has rounded corners), then the exposed white areas can be pretty noticeable.

I have had so many disappointing bedskirts over the years that I really struggled with which one to order. This is crisp quality & not shiny as I feared! Also has quality fabric that goes between mattress & box spring, not that paper crud on most of them. I was even able to get the mattress back on without it moving around! Also, not see through like so many of them! Did have to iron, but that is a small price to pay for quality! Couldn’t be happier!

The color I picked, based on photos, was exactly as I expected it to be. It matches my quilt top perfectly. However, in spite of the fact that it was labeled as a California king, it was about 4 inches too wide for the bedframe that I’m using. I got around this after putting the mattress over the top of it by reaching under the bed frame and pulling the white fabric in, without being too careful, and then I pulled the skirt back down to the level that I wanted it. I suspect it will not stay put in the future. I may end up sewing a seam into it to make it fit better. The fabric was a little thinner than I thought it would be, and it required quite a bit of ironing to get the wrinkles out, even after a wash. For $39 with shipping, I think it’s a good value. Once it’s in place, it looks great. It’s just getting there takes a while.

I had a really hard time trying to find the perfect 'vanilla bone color' (should have looked with Amazon first) but found this and it is a perfect match. More than that, the quality is very nice, not cheap or scratchy or thin. Super happy.

Perfect for my bed - the color was exactly as described! This bed skirt is the exact size I needed and well sewn, the white portion of the bedskirt (that lays over the box spring) is good quality material and it looks good, it's still a little wrinkled from packaging as I didn't feel like ironing it but still looks great to finish off my bed.
