Best regards Julie. **Q: Hi, when stuck on the granite hearth is it padded well in case of a bumped head.** A: It pads the corners and edges very well - nice and spongy! **Q: What are the exact dimensions of this guard? What are the lengths of the two edges that make a right angle?** A: I don't have a tape measure handy to measure exactly but it is about an inch edge to right angle. It's fairly easy to apply but cut it a few mm longer than you require as it shrinks back about 3mm a day or so after fitting. **Q: Will it leave stains/damage the wood after removal?** A: No I had it for months on.. 3M tape is really good. The only issue so far is that my girls have worked out that they can pull it off so we’re regularly sticking it back down. Seems to keep sticking back down easily though! Definitely worth a try. We have quite a bit leftover so can reapply some of it if needed. Not enough left to do the whole thing again though. Great value and does the job intended. It’s spongy and soft so should give some protection if anyone fell onto it.
