Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing (Electrical Regulations) Paperback – 4 Feb. 2015

Its IET G3, what can i say, required material to take the 2391 exam.....its a book. Doesnt make a great hat....because its a book. Contains all the information required for said exam...does what it says on the cover. Not what id call a riveting read, dont skip to the end to find out who did it, you won't be enlightened. And dont try and use it as a hat 😉

Hi, I received the book today and I am very disappointed. I paid £30 for new one but I received an old book, very dirty and the pages were stuck toghether. It is very crinckly this is not a new book this looks like it has been dipped in wate. I want either my money back or an ACTUAL NEW BOOK.

Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing (Electrical Regulations) sold By Amazon on Amazon.This book is a handy bit of kit for any electrician, the latest version, nicely worded with Nice and clear illustrations, I bought this guidance note 3 as I'm currently working on the 2391 course any any extra books that can help me revise or help me on the day are well appreciated and also the guidance note 3 is an integral book to the 2391 course!I feel if I'm not buying direct from Amazon on the Amazon website but via a 3rd party seller on Amazon it's always worth saying whether they were good with the item being legitimate etc.But in this case it was sold by Amazon via Amazon and confirm the item was legitimate, great condition and came with a speedy delivery.Please give my review a thumbs up if this was helpful, much appreciated 👍

This is relating to the product and not the seller!Overpriced book as always from IET. As a student having to paying hundreds of pounds for books is terrible. Some students on my course couldn't afford to buy any of them which makes studying very tough.

Another edition of the same. It really would be good if the IET could issue updates to these books rather than us having to buy them each time. How long before the first amendment of the 18th making this book obselete. If you are a student though or not up to speed with inspection and testing they do contain some really useful information which is set out in a clear, concise and logical way.

I'm due to take my AM2 and though I've gotten through my level 2 and 3 with just the bs7671 and the OSG, I thought having this overpriced book may aid my final qualification.Though its a handy little book it does come at a price, I was lucky enough to get it at prime price however still paying over £20 for it I'm rather annoyed it has shown up damaged. I can not be bothered to send it back for a replacement as I need to adjust to the book before my am2 but it's still rather annoying when you pay this amount of money for damaged goods.

Got my brand new GN3 this week, sat down to have a read to see what changes there are and was going well until page 17!!! it was missing right up to page 32.

Great book but shame they can't get the Earth fault loop impedances right!!! They have issued a free download page 122 is all wrong.But how can they get the most commonly used values so wrong, and more worryingly I only found out as the Nic sent all its members the link to rectify it. Anyone not registered with a body won't even know.SHAME ON YOU IET, simply not good enough this is people's safety your messing with! And where's the offer of a new book from them??
