20W security lights motion sensor floodlight outside lighting with sensor lights outdoor Light With PIR LED Security Light Waterproof 2000 Lumen Daylight White

My last Amazon-purchased outdoor LED PIR floodlight failed on me a couple of days ago. As soon as my wife noticed it failed we ordered this because of the combination of cost and reviews. It arrived a day later after dark, and was fitted on day 3 quite easily.Matching the existing cables up wasn't too hard so it was a simple case of removing the old, rusty thing and replacing with this brand spanker. The thing is, the old one was only fitted a year or so prior, so I'm really hoping this one will last longer.The casing, wiring, seal and light itself seemed better quality than the previous "standard" LED floodlight. By standard I mean the lights that look similar to this but just have an inch-square yellow LED cluster in the centre and a plain silver reflector. This has a larger LED cluster and rippled reflector.Despite being a little smaller than the old light, this is much brighter. So bright I got quite the surprise when I turned the power back on to test.It's and incredibly cool white, as opposed to the warmer yellow floodlights I have.I'm hoping my other two last a bit longer as I didn't enjoy changing them over up a stepladder in the freezing cold.This better last a good while too!Edit: Update. This light unfortunately hasn't lasted a year. It went downhill fast. First signs were delayed turning on when we walk within range. Then it stopped coming on altogether. We have another light further down which works better than this and it has been up for much longer.Really need to find a light that lasts longer than this naff.

Seems like a much better quality light than others in here.the already wired up lead is a great addition but i wanted to wire it up to an existing lead so i had to take it apart,inside appears good quality components and they have waterproofed everything so good effort there.The PIR works absolutely fine unlike others on here which are downright dangerous. The only downside to this is the fact that it's not very bright and I wouldn't say it suitable as a drive light, but it is only a 20 watt I have since bought a 50 watt but I have yet to fit so hopefully that should be bright enough.I would recommend this make especially the manufacturer as the quality is very good compared to others on here.

The media could not be loaded.  Huge benefit of having the length of cable already attached, take this into account when looking at cheaper lights. easy to wire in and easy to set up. You can set the activity points for the PIR in daylight then switch over to night time operation simply.20w is ample for a medium yard/garden and the higher you mount it the more the spreadNot happy with the cable colours though, I have wired a few things in my time and this is the first I have come across with Black, Grey and off Green. Had to go and look it up to make sure... Also, the LED's, when the PIR is not activated, give off a slight glow.Definitely a recommendation though.

My first thoughts out of the box were how weighty it was (in a good way) and solidly built. I liked how it was already wired, meaning I could connect it to the cable that was already there rather than go back to the consumer unit. I have only just fitted it, and it lit up straight away, albeit in broad daylight so I need to play with the controls a bit. I liked how after purchase, the seller emailed tips to preserve its watertightness.

Bought to replace a 10W LED Security light in the garden. Easy and simple to install as wiring was already in place for me. The cable that is attached is long for what I needed, but I cut that back. The timer option I have set to full but it still seems a bit short, time will tell. One thing that is missing is a manual switch to set for PIR/ON/OFF which was on my old light and was occasionally useful. Overall a good product for a reasonable price.

I like the light and I generally recommend it, but it’s a little sensitive and I have the setting turned down to about 10% I will have to try and turn it right down. It might be because mine is positioned really high up and it gets trigged by the trees 14ft from the light. I have the sensor pointing down to try and avoid this. I would recommend LED over halogen

well product installed ok, flex not very long so restrictive where you put it. Light is 9 months old and has now stopped working. try to light, but clicking sound heard, LED's flash, only half the light pattern lights up but fails to illuminate. clicking sound stops then light goes off. Wiring checked, all ok. Problem in LED itself. No water ingress so can't blame that. Not good only lasting 9 months.

Spent 3 hours fitting this to my back wall,works good nice an bright.BUT after a month it now only stays on for a max of 1min,doesn't,t matter how much you play with the settings it goes off at 1 min.Its just to much to remove it with the wiring and send it back,doesn't matter if you buy a premium brand name or not nowadays they are all made in China as cheap cheap as possible RUBBISH.
