Great little light. Very bright. Well made. With the carry case and spare batteries this is a very useful little light to keep with your camera kit when on site doing projects. My only negative comment would have to be that where the light fixes onto the swivel head, the adjustment screw nut has a tendency to fall out of its encapsulated hole and given that it is very small it is very easy to lose which renders the swivel head and hot shoe mount unusable. On my first day of using the light on site taking photos of the inside of a castle on scaffolding for work, this nut fell out of its slot and fell down through the gaps of the scaffolding and was lost. Fortunately I found it by accidently later in the day. From now on I will keep a couple of spare 6mm nuts in the carry case in case this happens again.Delivery time was also long. Although fulfilled by Amazon, the light had to be sent from Italy first so delayed delivery. Took 10 days.Other than this, a great light and would certainly buy again!

Amazing value - do just what they should. If you’re looking for cheap but effective lights, I’d recommend these ones :)

This video light is excellent value especially in the current sale (just over £10). I think when it first came out the light alone was about $30 so this kit, which also includes an extendable tripod is highly recommended. The tripod is also usable for small compact cameras, although it has to be said it feels a little like cheap plastic, but considering the price of the light and the kit together you can't complain!

Very powerful for the price and the dimmer control gives you all the control required.

I would have given 5 stars all round for this, but care is needed when inserting the rechargeable battery to avoid mis-alignment with the connecting pins.The light output is good for a unit this size and the diffuser panel is a good accessory.The supplied case is compact and robust.

I use it for making YouTube videos of myself playing guitar. One lamp is more than bright enough; I was pleasantly surprised that it includes a dimmer rather than a simple on-off switch, so I can run it at 75% and extend battery life. Having two batteries allows me to charge one while the other is in use, so I'll never be caught out or need to plug the lamp into the wall. The charger is very nice, with an LCD readout of charge level. The case is nice, filled with a block of foam rubber with cutouts for all the parts. I use it for spare parts when I'm not using them.

This little light is amazingly bright. I just shot a first look video using my Nikon D3100, the Takstar SGC-598, and the Neewer CN-160 LED light. Wow! What an improvement over using ambient room light. I've got several soft-boxes and umbrellas that use CFL bulbs. They work great, but they're huge and cumbersome to transport. This little light does the job for a key light mounted directly to your rig. You'll still want to include some type of fill lighting and possibly a hair light to avoid any harsh shadows, but even without those, it is a huge improvement over straight indoor ambient lighting. Colors really pop. Excellent "bundle" comprenant le tout : batteries, rechargeur intelligent, filtres, sacoche. Un véritable "ready to go". Le *** GRAND AVANTAGE *** est de pouvoir éclairer convenablement dans des expositions sachant que les flashs sont toujours interdits ! En présence de petits animaux, vous pouvez donner un petit "coup" de luminosité (bouton réglable). Des piles crayons AA rechargeables sont également compatibles ! Juste un bémol : je crains un peu sur la longévité de la fixation en plastique mais nous ne sommes pas des "brutes épaisses", n'est-ce pas ?! Il peut être intéressant d'acquérir une longue barre de support pour le LED pour quelque peu déporter la luminosité sur le côté. Petit accessoire parfait pour une prise de photos portraits statiques ! *** JE RECOMMANDE totalement ! ***
