9th Street Reverb Classic Felt Fedora 100% Wool

I bought this hat as a thank-you gift for my fiance. I wanted to get a nice older style fedora he could wear when we do 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s special events. I think I looked at every similar hat on Amazon, some less expensive, and some more expensive, but I think this hat is a great value. I was very pleased with the quality of it and it not only is lined nicely, but it comes well packed in a great reusable hat box. Oh, and the sewn brim is another very nice detail most of the other hats don't have. Incidently, I went to the old venerable hat shop downtown Cincinnati to see what they had last week. Some very nice high quality hats, but they wanted around $300 for the one that is similar to this Levine hat~! So, save yourself some shopping around time.

Very impressed by the quality of this hat. Also true to size. I will buy again when I leave this one in a cab (which is what happened to the last one).

What can be really be said about a red fedora? It's bold, striking, & aggressive (and it's red). Those are some of the reasons why I purchased it. Also, 9th Street Hats is a line of affordable hats from a well regarded hat company. That was another plus as was the pictures provided information as to how the fedora would be packaged. This company knows how to ship a hit--in a hat box with the hat suspended crown down so as not to adversely affect the shape of the brim.The hats does appear well made. I only gave it 4 stars for some minor reasons. One, it runs just a touch big. I ordered a medium which is a 7 to a 7 1/8. I am the latter. But the hats fits closer to a 7 1/4. Inserting one hat sizer into the brim fixed this. Nor is this all that uncommon with some hat brands. Better a bit large than a bit small.Second, the crown is just a tad shorter than I am use to. It top of the crown touches the top of the head. A mere adjustment in the design to where the crown is an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch higher would fix this problem. Still, it's not enough of a problem to not recommend someone to purchase this hat. After one or two wearing and this probably won't even be noticed.Third, the 100 % wool fabric seems fine overall. But it seems somewhat less finished than comparable hat brands such as the Walrus hat brand which also is tailored in China of 100% Australian wool. Again, this tiny issue should not keep someone from consider buying this hat. In darker color, this issue probably would not even be noticed.Bottom line: If you are fedora guy or gal, give 9th Street Hats a try.

I scored this hat fir about half the regular price and I’m pretty pleased. It’s definitely not high end construction but it’s far better than costume quality. The fit is about what I expected. The brim will NOT snap down, which is fine for me, but nit fir some folks. You down snappers and snap downers know what I’m talking about.The feather was NOT included with mine. The packaging was a cardboard ring to protect the hat inside a big envelope. It reminded me of a nacho tray and worked very well.

I am a woman that can appreciate a fedora! I love wearing them with my heels and my clutch purse no matter the season.I bought the red one first and instantly fell in love! It is made of such nice quality and looks like it cost a lot more than what it is being sold for on Amazon. I immediately bought a navy blue one and a black one...they arrived today and they fit just like the red one. I wanted to make sure before I left a review!! You will not be disappointed!

Given as a gift. Recipient is absolutely delighted with style, fit, function as a top cover, and woksmanship. Maintains ideal shape after crushing. Probably would sleep in it were that permissable. Pleased beyond any expectations & quality far exceeds price.

I’m so impressed. It was packaged nicely and thoughtfully, and the hat was even more than I’d hoped for. Very nice quality! I bought it for my husband for a holiday party but he wants to wear it regularly. A hit!

The wool felt is of a great quality, and the construction is good. It fits great (medium). I also appreciate that the feather is not pre-attached and comes sealed in plastic pouch separately (I didn't want it on my hat). However, the front brim on my hat doesn't stay snapped down, it always pops back up within a few seconds of moving around. It looks like the 2nd picture in the product page (as opposed to the first picture).
