Be VERY CAREFUL which SUPPLIER you choose...
Actually this is a one star, and five star review depending on which order we're talking about...I ordered a set of these for my bicycle as it's a 'Stealth' bike, and I'd like to keep it that way, but at the same time make it safer to ride. The first set of these came from the supplier "skiingeric123". I'd had 3M Scotchlite before and these did NOT reflect in the manner I'd expect, they appeared to be of a lesser, generic brand (slightly cheaper too). It's not worth the hassle of returning for such a small cost, but thought best to write this review.I reordered from "ReflectiveSupplies" as had used before and much happier with product reflectiveness. These reflect much better. See photo - In my opinion the original items received are not fit for purpose and don't match the description they were sold under. In short, be wary of the supplier you choose to order from!Photos: close up and distance with camera phone and flash.Photo: left product - from ReflectiveSuppliesPhoto: right product - from skiingeric123

Great for dark gear.
I bought these to fit onto my black full face motorcycle helmet. I put two on the front and two on the rear and they are very thin, so measure twice fit once. Also I placed them where I liked rather than within the French rules as there seems a fair bit of confusion relating to these laws anyway (see below). I rode through France twice in 2015 without stickers and didn't see anyone else wearing them either. It wasn't until I started working later shifts I decided to high vis up a bit more. With a normal light source these do not reflect but under headlights at four metres/camera flash they light up great. I thought id share some pictures after fitting.I do believe however the only Law coming in will be a high vis jacket requirement for emergencies/breakdowns from January 2016 but may have changed from writing this. The Law in France? (source google)All helmets must have four reflective stickers: one on the front, one at the rear and one on each side. The surface of each sticker must be 18 cm2 and, within each sticker, you must be able to draw a 40 mm diameter circle, or a 12.50 cm2 rectangle with a minimum of 20 mm length

inconspicuous, very reflective and easy to use
I have bought these not for my helmet, but for our baby stroller. I did not want to put any white or other coloured stickers on it to not mess up with the colour scheme of the pram and decided to try these on the black plastic parts. Usually black reflective isn't very reflective, but this one certainly is! The stickers shine up very well and on top of that are easily adjustable around curved parts, plus the glue is strong enough to hold it in place well but it is easy to replace the stickers a few times for adjustments.

Went for it and pleasantly surprised with adhesion
Could be cheaper but on a bog standard backpack if carefully administered, stick perfectly well to the material and has for many months now conformed and moved around and remain stuck even in sometimes slightly wet conditions (not been used in downpours as of yet). As you can see from the pic with flash on they reflect very well, yet, being black, are nearly invisible on the back under normal use (have one on the black part of my bike too).Just ensure that the surface has been wiped clean and dry before application and don't get your fingers on the sticky because that will reduce its effectiveness and sticking. Recommended

Don't reflect light well at all.
Black supposed to reflect white but tested both with camera flash in dark room, and with car headlights outside, as advised by seller, and at best they are a silver grey colour that is hardly noticeable in the dark.Bought to make a black motorcycle helmet and top box clearly visible on dark country roads so unfortunately have had to return.
