best for bullion stitch.
I have recently started an embroidery project and these needles were recommended . They are the best for stitches that wrap around the needle such as the bullion stitch . Makes life more enjoyable to use the right needle and the best thread.

No bending
These needles are the only ones I have found that do not bend with heavy use. They remain smooth and slide easil through the fabric. They are also very smooth on the eye end so when you are making a quilters knot, there is no hesitation or pulling of the thread. They are PERFECT for needle turn applique!!!

Not large eyes as stated on the package.
Fast shipping. I like the larger eyes of longer Milward's #10 milliners needles better, but the cheaper needles bend out of shape easily. Richard Hemming needles don't bend.
