Definitely stops my dogs from barking!
So this collar has not "trained" my dogs not to bark when they are not wearing it, BUT... when you put it on it's like magic. I have three little mixed breed dogs that can really get each other going! I started with one collar and would put it on the barkiest dog - this worked great for him, and for one of my other dogs who really doesn't like the sound so also stops barking. But the third will still go at it. So I bought a second and I just put two on whoever needs them at the time. It pretty much works after one bark and then they stop. I was worried about scaring them too much, or hurting their ears, but it doesn't seem to be scaring them per se, just stops them and makes them wonder what the heck. Seems better than driving neighbors and everyone else nuts. Will probably get a third so all three can be outside enjoying the sunshine, but not barking at every little thing. I take it off when they are in mostly since they don't typically wear collars a lot and don't love having it on. I'm happy with this little product.

Great bark collar! Very humane, NOT a shock collar.
This is a great bark collar! I'm wary of different bark control devices that spray things in the face or give the dog an electronic shock. This gives the dog a warning by sounding a tone. If the dog continues to bark, it gets a tone then the device vibrates. It's just a vibration, not a shock. It's weird enough for the dog, that it stops them from barking. We have two Cocker Spaniels and they learned very quickly that barking is no Bueno. I highly recommend it.

Worked but not for long...
The collars lasted about 4 months. Batteries die pretty quickly, so if you get it, buy back up batteries. Overall, it was effective and I'm thinking about buying another set once we move.....I have 2 pit bulls, they are very active and LOVE to play. One is very vocal (Bones) and the other one is pretty quiet (Diamond). It worked well for Bones but then he figured out how to loosen the collar and would slid it off or he would unclip it somehow (I'm sure Diamond helped him). Then Diamond started picking up Bones' bad habit of barking so I bought her one. And since she is so jumpy it worked for her immediately. However, the collar did not work when Bones was in protect mode. The neighbors dog came up to our fence and Bones barked non stop until the dog left while the collar beeped the entire time. If your dog has a one track mind when he/she is barking, then I don't know if this collar would be good for them.

Disappointed :(
I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately it just didn't work for my dogs. My one dog was caught off guard by it the first 2 days, and then got use to it. My other dog wasn't affected by it at all; he barked through the sound, and vibrations completely. The 1st dog is a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix (all of 10lbs), and the 2nd is a Maltese/Laso Apso mix, about 15lbs. I made sure the collars were on snug, and against skin, not hair, but to no avail. I like how the product is made, and looks, but it just didn't work for my dogs.

Stopped working
I’m not sure if I have a defective product or what. I’ve had it for five weeks now and it’s been the better half of that five weeks that it hasn’t been working. When we first got the collar, it deterred my puppy from whining and barking. Occasionally she would bark through the beeps and vibrations if she really wanted something. Now, it does nothing. I’ve taken the collar off and blown in the receptor which prompts a beep/vibration. I’ve checked the tightness, changed the batteries, and changed the probes. Nothing will help. She barks and the collar is rendered useless.

Not Great For Sensitive Breeds
Didn't Work. When I blew on the sensors it worked. When my dog barked nothing happened. I turned the sensitivity all the way up but it still didn't work when he barked. His bark is very loud, too. The prongs are long and very hard plastic. Certain dog breeds shouldn't have something pushing on their throat because it could risk collapsing. My dog is one of those breeds. So, I had to send it back.

Didn’t Work, Returned
This item was a huge disappointment. It didn’t work AT ALL with my corgi-beagle mix (beagi). While it’s an attractive collar with two plate color options, it didn’t deter my Pearl from barking at all. It was nothing like her former Sport Dog collar. At this price point, it’s hard to find a collar that works. I’ve tried many. Non-shock seems attractive — but if it doesn’t work, you should try a shock collar at the lowest setting.

Works great, but hard to find replacement batteries
This has an odd battery size and I have the darndest time finding a replacement. Luckily, it worked so well, all I have to do is put the collar on and she stops barking! To note, she didn't bark all the time, just with the doorbell so I don't know how this would work on a dog that barks all the time...
