Gladiator Maximus Helmet halloween costume/ fitted liner - movie / film / larp / role-play / fancy-dress

Arrived before the anticipated delivery date. My initial impression of this item was that it looked great but was a little rough around the edges and was in need of a good clean and polish. Tip... clean with a little water and washing up liquid, then polish with olive oil. Once cleaned up it really does look impressive. It can be worn but in order to be comfortable exspect to have to pad it out quite substantially or purchase some form of arming cap. Don't expect perfect craftsmanship as that would come with a hefty price to match. I would say that taking the price into account it is well worth the money

What a great purchase! Gladiator has been my favourite film since my younger days. I have just purchased my own house and had some empty shelf space and was looking for some unique products to display. This helmet always gets a positive reaction from any visitors i have to my house. The dimensions and overall look of the helmet are almost identical to the one worn by Russell Crowe in the blockbuster film. Just by holding the product you can tell it is well made and although i have not bought it for the purpose of wearing it, it does fit snugly and comfortably on my head. It also came with a wooden stand which i was not expecting which was an added bonus. For any die hard fans of the film gladiator this is a must have product in my opinion and one you will not be disappointed with.

Very disappointed with the helmet. As you can see in the photos it's missing the golden looking 'flowers' that hinge the face plate. Instead there are two brass coloured machine screws which have left a very noticeable dent on both sides.The helmet was very poorly packaged and when I took the helmet out three of the spikes had broken off (the spikes are plastic). I could only find two of them in the packaging and gluded these back on.I think it's a discrace when a seller suggests that what you see in their photo description is what you get, this is patently untrue. I will DEFINITELY NOT be buying from this seller again.

Pretty cool looking helmet but unfortunately was delivered bent (see photo) going to figure out how to bend it back into shape...

Gladiator Maximus Helmet. words cant describe how good this and life like this helmet is, one note tho the same company sell the same item a bit cheaper and it comes with a helmet stand mine didn't come with one and it has cost me an extra £25 to order a stand for it.

Looks brilliant and you can wear it although it’s quite heavy, on the stand looks great
