Sehr Gut!!! Schneller!!!
This boat is wonderful!!! It's fast, smooth and effortless in the water. I have driven it once. I was going pretty much full throttle, with intermittent breaks to avoid burning out the ESC. It lasted about10 minutes I'd say. That's longer than my other, comparable boats. I will go half throttle the next time and we'll see if I get a 15 minute run time. That's the only possible negative thing that I could say about this boat.

Dont buy
3 times of use and wires melted at the plug in for the batteries

Well the men of the house are thoroughly amazed at this beast
Well the men of the house are thoroughly amazed at this beast. First of all there are two batteries that run it plus it's water cooled. Does this mean anything to me, no - but the guys are impressed. It was easy to set up as it's almost completely assembled other than batteries installed. You'll need a couple AAs for the remote though. It also arrives with extra propellers which is a good thing because if you use it where it might hit a stick, there goes a propeller...as happened with them.First time out - they put it in a smaller pond near our home. The one thing they mentioned is there doesn't seem to be a 'medium' speed. It went from putting at start to full on turbo! Front end lifted up and off it went. That's when it hit a twig, did a jump and one propeller was beaten up. So they changed it and put it back in.Notes: There is no reverse To turn or make a corner you need to be going damn close to full speed, it doesn't turn gently Main thing - they feel this is made for 'big' water. Big lakes, etc. and for racing.Definitely not for small ponds and not for the faint of heart. In my opinion, this is a bigger ticket item and if your guys and gals are into boating and racing these things, it's a great start. My guys loved it, just wished it would turn at slower speeds and have a medium speed control....then it could be used on smaller waters. Also - one twig ruined a prop, so he said he'd be buying them by the dozens and I don't know the cost of them yet.

A precision instrument
This boat is an absolute beast (in a good way). Immediately brought a huge smile to my face when it accelerated effortlessly to light speed (ok, I’m being liberal with my words but you will too). This comes with everything you need to get up and running; boat, battery, remote, assembled, etc. it’s been over 2 decades since I last piloted an RC boat, the controls were still familiar but the battery tech has come a long way. This thing can go from a gentle cruiser to blistering fast speeds in seamingly a split second. Stability is superb, turns at an instant. It also stay upright, I had a few sharp turns which caused the boat to roll but boat has self-correcting weighting. Range is great (I didnt go too far though, our “local” RC park has about a 300 ft range for unrestricted RC boating zone).Get this!

Super fast, needs a large body of water
When it's up and running, this baby is a ton of fun. First run was awesome, but the smaller pond in the video limited use. Second trip, took it to a lake. We still really like it…We lost some screws on our second voyage which had an adverse effect on the steering. It went unnoticed for a few minutes which led to a terrible boating tragedy. 1/2 of the plastic prop broke but my son-in-law decided to keep driving a little bit more (for testing purposes of course) to search for survivors. The vibration from running the 1/2 propeller loosened up the propeller mounting hardware. All of this to say that this is an adult toy and will require constant repairs to maintain it. Overall, Lots of fun and pretty much what I expected out of a high speed RC boat. Like all things RC, you run them for a few minutes and repair them for a few hours. That said, this is worth the time and effort to get out there and zoom!

Lots of fun
This remote controlled speedboat is a lot of fun on a lake. It take little assembly, but when it arrived it had a small crack in the hull that my son had to repair. It was easy enough to do and the boat seems to have no ill effects in performance. The boat has a good range and is responsive to the remote. Sharp turns make it list some, but it has always righted itself for us. It goes really fast at full speed, which is what my son generally likes to do anyway. It comes with some extra parts, in case something underwater damages a propeller, but we've been lucky and haven't needed to replace anything aside from the initial hull repair.

Pilot your own speedboat at fraction of cost of owning real one!
This is the first remote control boat I've ever had, and I'm having a great time piloting it. My two boys also get a kick out of playing with it, and we've had a good time together. I've taken it to local park, a swimming pool, and even did a initial test run in the bathtub. It takes a little time to get used to the controls, but I was zipping all around in no time

Great value for the fun it delivers!
Wow this is cool! My 4, 6 and 8 year old boys love this! Although only the 8 year old drives it. We use it in a local reservoir that is relatively calm. Not sure it could handle rough waters. It goes super fast but the range is broad enough you don’t really need to worry about it getting stuck out in the lake. For the price this is definitely worth the fun we get out of it each time!
