Fiddly
Not particularly practical. Great as a talking piece. Once a pick bends slightly good luck folding it away.Bought this years ago mind and lost it ages ago, but randomly got asked to review it so…

Good bit of kit
Handy key ring set and well made it will pick a wide variety of locks however the tension wrench and locking screw became loose to easily so hanging on your key ring in every day life i noticed they work themselves free and you find them in your pocket or loose them that being said the rest of it is well made and handy bit of kit shame the designers took a half day ha ha I’d recommend just keep a keen eye on the removable bits

No easy picking booklet
I liked the idea of having a lock pick set as a pocket knife design, which is why I though I would get one to set in my tool set if I needed it. I selected this particular offer as it was supposed to come with an easy pickings booklet, so I thought I would get the tool and the booklet in one easy go.The actual tool itself is quite good, however I have had to mark it down considerably in that it didn't actually come with the promised booklet. There are cheaper offers out there and I wish I had got one of these now and put the saved money towards getting a book as a separate purchase. To be fair, I did contact Amazon regarding the missing booklet and they said there wasn't much they could do, except to offer me a refund if I returned the product, however I decided for the sake of a couple of quid it wasn't worth the hassle of returning this one, to merely buy another, which was only slightly cheaper.

Nice
I recently ordered this nice little thing. As I was hoping for it now comes with 6 picks instead of the 5 shown on the picture. (It is the new tool, as shown on the Southord homepage). The additional pick is a 5-mountain-pick.And of course there is no key, I guess the key is on the picture to show the size of the tool.I cannot recommend this as a beginners set because even as a beginner you need different sizes of hooks and tension wrenches, for example the hook and tension wrench that comes with it is much too big for smaller padlocks. You will need additional tools, and where do you put them?Minus: really expensive considering the amount of picks you get.Plus: the quality is good, and it's compact and camouflaged as a knive.

Good little pick set
As the title suggests this is a good little pick set, which would fit into an experienced pickers arsenal or be a decent set for beginners to pick up having a good range of picks and rakes, and with good build quality you would expect from SouthOrd. The set is a good small size so is easy to take with you so is nice and convenient, however a small degree of sensitivity is lost by having the larger than normal penknife-style handle. The only other real downside as mentioned by another reviewer is that the torque wrench can be a bit of a pain to get in and out of the set (the reason for 4 stars and not 5), but if you take a minute its ok and shouldn't go missing.

Easy Pickings
Only just started lock picking but think this is a good starter set. Got good selection of picks and are not too hard to use with the penknife style handle. One downside is that it is quite hard to get the tension wrench in and out of the housing, i found, and ended up loosing it after a couple days of use since it hadnt secured properly. Therefore you may need to buy your own tension wrench if you have the same problem, which is a shame since then its not as comapct (then again if your careful you'll be alright)Despite this is still looks very stylish and is easily small enough to carry around in your back pocket.

quite useful
Although this lockpick doesn't allow the user to have the same "feel" with the lock, it is in a useful, and small, practical package. Although i'd never tried such a product before, i was quickly able to open simple locks. It's rather therapeutic to use, and somewhat resembles a puzzle.overall, i would definitely recommend this product to people who likes a challenge. However, It probably isn't useful for a more skilled person, looking for a professional tool.

... one of these years ago and it was in beautiful brushed steel
Had one of these years ago and it was in beautiful brushed steel; now it's a kind of tacky chrome finish. Also, the screw nut on mine totally seized up so had to work it loose again with mole grips. However, awesome pick set in the most compact form.
