Purchased 2 one 16Aug25, the other 09Jun25, 1 stopped working Jul26. Less than one year usage. Would not purchase again. /END ORIGINAL. UPDATED 8/26/26: Two things. Before discarding the non-working unit, while fidgeting with another older unit from another manufacturer, which cleary had corrosion on bat connections, I looked up how to clean, and in so doing discovered general recommendation for irrigation timers to 1. Use highest quality Alkaline bats that are designed for outdoor/high heat - these are Engergizer Ultimate Lithiums. 2. Periodically clean bat leads with water / baking soda paste and then with rubbing alchohol and let completely dry. So I got the bats and cleaned the leads as described and voila - it worked! So now it's back doing it's magic. Then on 8/26, today, Rainpoint Customer Service reached out via email to follow-up and offered a free replacment. So I change my review to 5 as with the updated battery practices, the unit is working, it's easy to program, and I see Rainpoint has world class customer support people like Xian A. -Thank you. Review: Good product! A couple wish-I-knew tips - Works well, and setup was easy enough. A couple points to note for other customers - you can schedule usage so that it turns on every X number of hours, but you can't do more complex scheduling such as only triggering during a designated set of hours in the day (e.g., every 4 hours only between 8am to 8pm). Also, this makes logical sense but is something I didn't really think about - if you're using this to split water into 2 different water sprinklers, the flow will not be as strong in each as opposed to if you just had all water going into one, so you'll want to make sure you account for that when purchasing this. ## Features - Experience the Revolution - The valves have been fully upgraded, reducing flow resistance by 40%. The screen structure has also been improved, achieving an IP65 waterproof rating. It has passed 20,000-cycle lab testing, making the product more durable. - 2 Separate Programmable Zones - Hose timers offer customizable settings for each zone. You can set specific start times, watering durations, By scheduling watering for different zones, you can conserve water and promote healthier plant growth. - Saves 1 Hour Daily Manual Work - Set it and forget it. This sprinkler timer outdoor offers a broad range of watering duration(1min -3h59min) and frequency(1h-12h and 1day-7day), which can customize flexible plans to ease your mind about watering while you’re away on vacation! - Versatile Watering Modes - Sprinkler timer with Auto, manual, and rain delay tres modes to meet all your watering needs. 3 separate manual modes, which can be switched between ZONE1, ZONE2, and BOTH ZONE by the "Zone" button. 24, 48, or 72 hours rain delay to avoid overwatering and save much water on rainy days. - Easy Setup, Hassle-Free - The 360Β° rotating interface simplifies installation. With one-click operation and a large button, using it is easy. The big display features a clear interface for managing your watering schedule without complicated menus, making it user-friendly for everyone, including those in their seventies. - LOW-BATTERY WARNING - The water faucet timer features a 2.5" easy-to-read LED display that may show the watering time, next irrigation plans, power, and other detailed information. Also, if the battery has to be changed, a low-battery notice lets the user know, and the valve will automatically close if the battery is low. - VERIFY COMPATIBILITY: The interface of this product is 3/4'', please check your device model before purchasing.(Note: If your pipe or faucet is rusted, it may result in a loose connection and reduced compatibility of the product) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BN65WT14 | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,695 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #8 in Watering Timers | | Brand | RAINPOINT | | Brand Name | RAINPOINT | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 3,824 Reviews | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 0.1"D x 0.5"W x 0.5"H | | Item Weight | 0.51 kg | | Manufacturer | RAINPOINT | | Manufacturer Part Number | ITV205 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | TCRP205NH-Z | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of settings | 7 | | Product Dimensions | 0.1"D x 0.5"W x 0.5"H | | Screen Size | 2.9 inches | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RAINPOINT - **Color:** Blue - **Item Weight:** 0.51 kg - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 0.1"D x 0.5"W x 0.5"H ## Images ![Water Timer for Garden Hose - 2 Zone Sprinkler Timer with Rain Delay/Manual Watering/Automatic Irrigation for Yard Lawn - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tlkce18YL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Number Of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can i leave faucet turned on all the time? A couple wish-I-knew tips *by R***E on September 21, 2026* Works well, and setup was easy enough. A couple points to note for other customers - you can schedule usage so that it turns on every X number of hours, but you can't do more complex scheduling such as only triggering during a designated set of hours in the day (e.g., every 4 hours only between 8am to 8pm). All was working fine until the timer failed to shut off for 13 hours until I discovered it. I reached out to their customer service more than once and somehow my calls fell through the cracks, which happens in life. Two months later, I received a SECOND outreach letter (I must have deleted the first one without reading it because it looked like spam) from the Sales Manager sincerely apologizing and taking full responsibility for the glitch, and offering me a no-cost upgraded replacement which has restored my faith in this company and product. So I've changed my previous 1-star BUYER BEWARE review to this 4-star (only 4 because I only had 5 months of excellent outcome after easy installation. THANK YOU RAINPOINT for having so much empathy for me as a customer and integrity with your customer service and 5-year Warranty. I will purchase from you again in the future. ## Frequently Bought Together - RAINPOINT Water Timer for Garden Hose - 2 Zone Sprinkler Timer with Rain Delay/Manual Watering/Automatic Irrigation for Yard Lawn - RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer, Programmable Water Timer for Garden Hose, Outdoor Soaker Hose Timed with Rain Delay/Manual/Automatic Watering System, Digital Irrigation for Yard, Lawn, 1 Outlet - Orbit 58573N H2O-6 Gear Drive Sprinkler (Sprinkler on Spike) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/514580532-water-timer-for-garden-hose-2-zone-sprinkler-timer-rain](https://www.desertcart.be/products/514580532-water-timer-for-garden-hose-2-zone-sprinkler-timer-rain) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
