For those unfamiliar, when you use lithium batteries in stead of alkaline, which I do to prevent leak damage in small electronics, it is necessary to reduce the number of batteries or you may damage the item with too much voltage. An alkaline AA is 1.5v, while lithiums are 1.8. If you have a device that requires 6 AA batteries, it is designed to run on 9 volts. However 6 lithium AA batteries deliver 10.8 volts, which can damage the item. Using one of these "dummy batteries", will cut that by 1.8 volts, which brings youback to a perfect 9 volts.

Exactly what I needed to make an old two AA penlight more versatile. I used a single rechargeable LiFePO 3.2V battery with this, and a replacement LED bulb to resurrect an ancient medical penlight. Works great! I plan to do the same with anything else that takes an even number of AA batteries...replace half with placeholders, and the other half with rechargeable LiFePOs.

I upgraded my daughters nerf blaster from 4 AA batteries to 2 Nitecore IMR batteries. These filled the spot of the extra 2 batteries perfect.I also use 1 in the TV remote with 1 IMR and it works perfectly. Change TV remote batteries less frequently and her blaster spins up and works better now.

They do exactly what they are supposed to do: nothing. This is a dummy battery that is for applications that require one of the batteries in a battery holder be replaced with a space holder.

I used these alongside some Li-ion batteries to offset the higher voltage to prevent damage to any electronics. The product works perfectly and as intended.

The ones I received were about 1 Ohm in resistance (each!)... much, much more than they should have been. This will eat up substantial amounts of power. I returned them and used a piece of wire instead.

Since LiPo batteries are 3.2 volts and normal AA batteries are 1.5 to 1.6, I got these to make sure I didn't over power the item I was using which took 8 normal batteries. While they work ok, i just have a problem paying this price for something that is designed to do nothing. I was generous giving it 2 stars, because they seerved the purpose I needed them for, but the price is horrible.
