Misleading description - ingredients changed, not pure; contains soy and added sugars
The description on Amazon at present time of purchase states: "High protein, low fat, low carbs... Pure beef - no soy, no starch, no nonsense". So (perhaps not unreasonably) that is what I was expecting. I was more than a little surprised when I took the them out of the box and read the listed ingredients & nutritional info found on the back of the pack (which itself looks very different to the images currently on this site - so I can only assume the product has more recently been changed?)Ingredients are listed in order as: Beef ham 66.42%, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, red wine, canned pineapple, and more - with 23.7g carbs per 100g. Please refer to photos.I'm not sure by what measure this would be considered "pure beef" or "low carb", let alone "no soy". To say the description on site is misleading is probably putting it mildly.And yes, for a moment, I thought there had been a mistake with the delivery - but the product flavour I've received is indeed Black Pepper, as ordered. I'm utterly baffled.Most concerning of these things is the description on the site stating "no soy" when the first ingredient listed after beef is soy sauce. What if someone with a soy allergy bought this product based on the description, and did not read the ingredients on the pack before consuming? That in particular makes it unacceptable. I think something is very wrong here.

Savoury jerky with real 'chew'
Oh this stuff is good! I'm picky about my jerky as I find a lot of the versions commonly seen in the shops are overly sweet with a soft, almost wet texture.This jerky is deliciously savoury with a nice kick of pepper and has real 'chew'. It feels like a proper grown up treat and I'm having to ration myself to one pack a day to make my stash last.If you're not a fan of the sweet supermarket jerky try this. The price is similar to what you'd pay for the other stuff but for a product that in my opinion is streets apart.

Very good quality product, you just can't get anything as good as this from the supermarkets. 40g is not a lot and while I enjoyed this, it is very expensive for the quantity

sehr gut und reines Fleisch
Zuerst muss ich sagen, dass z.B. Jack Links meiner Meinung nach eine etwas bessere Konsistenz hat, und auf den ersten Bissen etwas kräftiger schmeckt... allerdings wenn man genauer hinschaut liegt das daran, dass bei Jack Links einfach jede Menge Zusatzstoffe und Natriumglutamat enthalten sind, das hat mir daran schon länger missfallen.Mit diesem Beef hier habe ich endlich ein Jerky gefunden, dass ohne Zusatzstoffe daherkommt und auch hoffentlich ohne Glutamat (dieses könnte sich unter der Bezeichnung "Gewürze" bei den Inhaltsstoffen verbergen, das wäre gesetzlich so erlaubt...)Es schmeckt allerdings nicht so, als ob Glutamat enthalten wäre, zumindest nicht in großen Mengen. Es schmeckt einfach natürlich nach Fleisch und nach (viel) Pfeffer. Ich mag gerne sehr viel Pfeffer, aber einigen könnte das vielleicht zu viel sein, es ist ziemlich scharf.Ich werde dieses Jerky auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen, weil mir wichtig ist, dass keine Zusatzstoffe drin sind. Der Preis ist auch absolut in Ordnung für die Qualität, was will man mehr?

Scadenza molto breve
Prodotto buono, mansonpndeluso della data di scadenza che è fra 5 mesi. Avevo intenzione di usare questa carne secca come scorta viveri in caso di calamità o escursioni ma viene a mancare l’utilità stessa di questa carnene essiccata se non dura a lungo. Sarebbe stata da mettere in pfferta con una scadenza così breve. Si poteva fare di meglio

Gutes Jerky!
Die kleine Ausgabe des Peppered Dried Beef Steak. Gut portioniert aber natürlich keine so großen Stücke. Dennoch von der Fleischqualität und der Aufbereitung her top! Könnte wie immer manchen zu stark gewürzt sein.

Pas mal.
Un peu cher, un peu trop sec aussi à mon goût. Même si je ne suis pas un grand spécialiste, j'en ai goûté des meilleurs.La viande est tellement sèche et peu "fibreuse" sur certains morceaux que j'ai eu l'impression de mâcher un bout de plastique...Ca reste quand même un en-cas appréciable.

Ich brauche abends etwas zum naschen ohne meine Trainingserfolge zu schmälern.Daher für mich genau richtig. Echter Geschmack, leichte Sättigung und Naschen ohne Reue. Bei Bedarf gerne wieder.

Mir scheint, ich habe eines der letzten Pakete dieser Charge erwischt und was da angekommen ist, ist wirklich unter jeder Kritik. Alt, vertrocknet, riecht eklig, schmeckt eklig. Mir fehlen die Worte. Eine Frechheit, soetwas zu versenden.

Tolles Jerky, gut angeschärft
Sehr lecker und richtig schöne Stückgröße, keine Fleisch-Krümmel. Aber Achtung, ordentlich scharf durch den Pfeffer. Besonders gut finde ich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, vor allem wenn man bedenkt dass wirklich keine Zusätze drin sind. Nur Fleisch und Gewürze.
