If they can acquire vital intelligence, the S.W.O.R.D's evil scheme may still be thwarted. Theyll need a combination of stealth and force to deal with guards, cameras, fiendish traps and the criminal mastermind known as Claymore, before the base is sealed. With just sixty minutes to save (or enslave) the world, its time to spy or die trying!Spy or Die Trying is a game for 2 to 4 players. One takes on the role of Base Defender (the Secret World Order); the others are Intruders (P.E.N agents) who play cooperatively against him.The box set includes a full-colour rule book, game board, die cut markers, secret agent profiles and dice. Excellent.
This is a very good value game, coming in under ten pounds, you get plenty for your money. The game board is large and robust and the game components are made of tough card. The game play is fairly straight forward and the rule book is excellent. However there are a lot of mechanics to the game whilst not complex one needs a good memory to remember the various options available to each player on their turn. A player aid sheet would have been a worthwhile inclusion. The game is very thematic, infiltrating the baddies base and gathering intelligence in order to thwart the dastardly plan. Fans of James Bond should love this game.

good, cheap and fast
Metal Gear Solid, Invisible Inc and Evil Genius cooked up a baby in an underground lab. This is the result of its extremely dominant genes.Well presented and fun to play.

really good game
Box was a lot bigger than I expected it to be, on the picture it looks very small but is actually a full size game box, and has a lot more in it that I expected too, really good game

Great game for lovers of all things Spy! Played it loads of times with friends and family and every game is different!

Overcomplicated and tedious
It's a great theme for a boardgame, but the rules are a gruelling mass of exceptions and unintuitive special cases, which slowed the experience down enough that it never really became much fun. The game itself is a bit of a 1980s throwback of cardboard chits, arcane movement rules and flukey dice rolls.
