I am not a child but I am new to fishing. There is a lot of helpful information about tying knots, bait, casting, etc. I unironically read and carried this in my tackle box the first few times I went out alone!

My 7-year-old has been obsessed with this book for weeks. He doesn’t want to read anything else, and he is so excited about what he has learned. I grew up loving Ranger Rick, and it’s so nice to see my son enjoying it, too.

this is nice, but i was kindof disappointed that there were so little fish in the book, but still amazing stater book, oh and the compass actually works!

Love this book. I have a child that is really into fishing and he wouldn't put it down. Its a great reference for him to look over again and again!

Good book. This book was part of a fishing/ outdoor decorations for a class party. We love Ranger Rick.

Wish more fish were in it, but perfect amount of info and very informative for new fishers. Kids especially.

Bought I for my grandsons and they enjoy upgrading their fishing skills.

My son was mega excited to get this, and it has some great info on knots and kit but it’s US based, so all the fish/lakes info wasn’t relevant.
