So I would of gave 5 stars no problem but half of the risers were duds right out the box.The ones that did work were perfect, no problems no issues, nada. Would love to buy more...but am hesitant. Might wright another review later depending on what happens going forward.

The Good:These have a red LED light which is kinda cool to indicate it's not DOA at least. 5/6 worked fine. They have the option to use all 3 connectors but you'll have to plan ahead due to the daisy chain issue below:The Bad:One had a physically bent 6 pin connector but Mintcell was quick to issue an partial refund for that one. As for the risers themselves, beware that if you choose to use the 6 pin or molex connector on the side most PSU's with daisy chain cables do not have enough length to reach the next riser beside as the GPU will be in the way and the cable has to be routed around it and also connected vertically.

Quality control is out the window. Cheap soft plastic is used for the connectors. the capacitors are crooked. the locking mechanism is probably one of the sharpest/hardest to lock. it even comes with a pamphlet that talks about how "if the capacitors are backwards let us know!"...... that should be something thats fixed BEFORE it leaves the factory...As for the 1x risers being at a 90 angle... the angle is facing the wrong way, nobody in their right mind would build a mining rig with the intention of running the cables across the motherboard.

After days of trying to get these to work 1 of the 6 work. After mixing the cables with different risers and 1x pcie adapters, of the 18 pieces 3 of them combined to give me 1 that worked. Spent hours trying different combinations of the pieces provided in this set and the remaining 15 pieces either didn’t show a device attached, or spewed errors immediately. Oh and the one that works, sata will not power it. Only miles.

Edit: in addition to the stain, I'm discovering that many of these boards are defective. When replaced with risers from other brands (3 caps) the cards work fine. PCB board came stained with something. Check picures from other reviewers to see what I am referring to. also price went up 20 dollars since I got it.

These work very well. They re the latest version. The right angle is fine for me. I have them running in multiple rigs. I have been sticking to MINTCELL on risers and so far out of 30 only 2 bad ones and amazon gave me credit for them.

Have bought several of these 6-packs and never had a bad riser. Love the horizontal (vs. vertical) plug design for the motherboard PCB pieces. Great for 6 - 8 GPU rigs (i.e. one row of motherboard PCI-E slots).

A couple of the risers just didn't work. Also, the side entry port might work for some, but it was super annoying to deal with so make sure you know what's best for your MB.

I love mintcell usually they are so on top of their game, I have risers that I bought 3 years ago from these guys and I never received a broken one, but this order, Lord what a catastrophe, all the risers came dirty, it looks like rust or piss, I'm not sure which one.... 1 Risers didn't work, another one had an issue with the wire, I'm not a newb I have 23 risers at home running 23 different GPU's, I know how to handle these and use them but let the pictures speak for themselves, Mintcell really dropped the ball this time and it pains me because I can never buy from their company again, i put 2 stars because delivery was faster than expected but that's more on the shipping company doing a great job.... ya broke my heart Mintcell
