I took my time reviewing the many similar products out there, and for the price I decided to give the Sealpod a try, not a great deal to lose. My nespresso machine is the Sage Creatista Plus (great piece of kit might I add!!!) and I filled a pod with my favourite blend, finely ground but not too fine, just like the grinds you tend to find in the Nespresso capsules themselves. No leakage, no bits in the coffee, worked first time and has been successful ever since. My advice would be to not fill up to the brim and don't tamper the coffee too hard, just gently press, leaving a mm gap at the top. Max coffee you can get in these is just over 5g, where people get 7-10g from is beyond me...check your scales!!!! Great creama every time too. Only problem is, I always run x2 ristretto shots so need to buy another now I am happy with the performance. Those with bad reviews I can only assume your coffee may be way too fine or too coarse, or you machine just doesn't like it. Well worth the money. Just to recap, go for a fine to medium grind, don't press too hard, and basically don't cram it in!! Happy days. ;-)

I am very impressed with this little pod - it does exactly what it says on the can. I have saved a lot of money too. I got 58 cups of coffee out of one £3.00 packet of coffee. Easy and quick to clean. It will pay for itself very quickly at this rate.

The pod arrived very quickly.I’ve been testing it out for 2 days now with lavazza ground coffee and I’m struggling to get it strong enough. I’ve tried a firm tamp, a lighter tamp, putting pin holes around the edge of the seal but it’s just too weak. I’m going to try a more coarse grind to see if that helps.In terms of basic usability it is really easy to fill and seal the capsule using the scoop and the little stand. The seals are easy to afix too. Clean up is also really simple.The capsule was packaged really well so no complaints there.I’ll update once I’ve tried a different coffee.

Have previously tried the plastic pods which I gave up on as the coffee was just never right and pod leaked everywhere. These stainless steel pods are great. Taken a few attempts to get it right, now delighted. Will still buy nespresso pods as I like some of their blends but will supplement with sealpod tho think I may have to invest in another pod as it would be handy to have a few ready for use.

I recently purchased a two pack of the Sealpods and the foil lids from Amazon. I am extremely impressed by the items I purchased; although they are marginally expensive they make a mean cup of coffee. Also, they appear much more environmentally friendly and economical. Many Thanks.

Fantastic product, works brilliantly on my machine, will save me money on buying overpriced nespresso pods. With the added bonus of choosing my own coffee.Will buy more lids now.

Superb product! I use my favourite Lavazza coffee (espresso grind) in this pod and it works very well in my nespresso machine. Lovely crema. Great value for money too, cup for cup!!

I found the sealpod did not sit correctly in my nespresso machine causing a malfunction. Have stopped using it now.
