Good initial quality, poor jaw opening clearance, poor performance
Nice, tight tolerances, and seem to be of good quality. Overall, they should work fine.My one complaint is that the jaws provide less than 3/4" maximum opening clearance, which I have never experienced on any fishing pliers in the past. I seems to be a design flaw, as the cutter design prevents further opening.Hopefully I can upgrade my review after using them over the next couple nights.Update: These may work for light tackle fishing, but not for me. Long night of fishing last night. The cutters had to be re-aligned, and never seemed to line up properly. Poor jaw clearance made unhooking plugs a challenge at best when wading in deeper water in the late night hours. When switching to hooks, I opted for my knife to remove 60lb leader from snelled hooks, as the cutter did not offer the clearance needed. By 2am, they were starting to bind due to the saltwater. Gave these away after last night's trip.

Great fishing pliers by Landers
Wow these Landers fishing pliers are better quality than I imagined, light weight, has a braided line cutter that is very sharp, and a nice sheath to carry with you. I baught two pliers for myself: one for my boat & one for my wading belt. As the holiday season approaches I will purchase additional Landers pliers for friends & family. These pliers will put a smile on any fisherman face!

Primo quality and easy to use
They worked just as I hoped!! Just got came back from a fishing trip in Myrtle Beach and these things worked like a charm! I’m a novice fisherman, and these things made me look like I knew what I was doing haha

Must have Pliers
A must for anyone that loves to fish. If you wade fish, you must have a these attached to your belt. The case is great and keeps the pliers in the holder without the worry of them falling out. You can pay more, but WHY. These pliers are very shape and best of all have a life time warranty. I really love the line cutter, very sharp and cuts braided line with no issues.
