Jacobi Jayne BB-1 BasketBall Hanging Bird, Suet Ball Feeder, Green, 270.0 mm*65.0 mm*85.0 mm

Various states of lockdown, tier systems, working from home, and shielding has left me missing the great outdoors. So wanting to bring various animals to my garden like I live action Snow White I bought various feeders, one of which was this thing, a fat ball feeder.At a shade under £2 I wasn't expecting much. I was half expecting it to arrive broken or not fit for purpose when in use. However, I was hugely surprised and impressed at how solid this thing is.Hanging from a tree in my front garden I've witnessed this thing withstand feeding from smaller birds like Robins and Starlings, attacks from larger birds like Magpies, and full on assaults by seagulls (granted seagull gave up after a few attempts at pecking and trying to rip if from the tree).This feeder is a favourite amongst my avian friends out there, and, at time of writing, this is currently unavailable, but if it ever comes back in, you should snap one up.

Really liked this product and it was exactly what I was looking for at a really excellent price. However I should really have listened to the other reviewers who said not to buy if you have squirrels. As you will see from the photograph they’ve simply chewed through it so I will have to replace it with a metal one. I would recommend this feeder BUT with the caveat that you don’t buy one if you have local squirrels as the likelihood is it won’t last 5 minutes - mine certainly didn’t.

The media could not be loaded.  After weeks of persevering. Hanging out the feeder outside my window with the suet balls, the birds have finally found it! They love them. I get the blue or great tit feeding on them. If you watch video to the end you will see one hop over the seed tray to get to the suet balls. I had two hanging in the garden, but squirrels destroyed them (literally). So outside window (1st floor) out of squirrels reach, perfect! Very satisfying once the birds found it! (I’ve added the same review to my suet balls bird feed purchase - credit to both feed and feeder!)

Dropped 1* as the plastic ball holders is a bit thick for some birds to grip.Solid build.

All I can say about this product is, really good for the price, I brought 2, I didnt want to spend to much on feeders as wasnt sure if the wild birds would use them, how wrong I was, I've lots of tree and house sparrows, blue tits and a few other types of birds, easy to clean and fill.....

Great suet ball feeder, the birds love it. It's easy to fill & hang but one of the clips has broken so not sure how long it will last - good job I bought three. Very easy to use & looks nice.

This is the second time I have bought this product and it works so well. I also bought one for my granddaughter. Finally after a year or more the squirrels finally decided to demolish the first one. Teach me to forget to give them peanuts. This is a great way to hang fat balls, easy to clean and fill and if the squirrels eventually cut in then it is cheap to replace.

This fat bal holder us really good, easy uo put the fat balls into it, sturdy Nd the birds like !
